We enjoyed a lovely Galantine’s evening this Tuesday at N&L Wealth Builders. They had multiple speakers dealing with fraud, health, wealth, and helping others in need. Lily Sword and Nicks’s staff put on these events throughout the year to give a holistic approach to all aspects of our lives. Lily does a great job to make it festive and informative. If you have not attended one of their events take the time to do so, the company is so much more than a wealth management company
In the past, I have received so many invitations for financial advice planning workshops, however, I always threw them away. This was the very first time I ever decided to accept an invitation. Although I already have a financial advisor of my own, I decided to see if the advice would be similar to the person I was currently using. I attended with a guest. The seminar was being held at a restaurant nearby that I have gone to countless times before. Jan 26,2026. A dinner was included.
Nick R led the presentation. He claimed it would be knowledgeable and fun!
At this point in the presentation, he was discussing street driving yield signs and what color they were. A lot of of the attendees believed it to be yellow! There were approximately 30 people in the room. Everyone knowing he was correct when he displayed it, color being red, I made a playful comment saying, don’t listen to him. It’s yellow”! Most of the room laughed knowing I was kidding around! Nick turned around to me like a lunatic and told me if I proceed to heckle him I would be thrown out of the seminar. I apologized and told him I was just adding to the commentary and kidding around. Very angrily he said he was not kidding. Taken back by his reaction, again I apologized and told him I was just kidding around when he angrily screamed again that he was not kidding. The room went silent. He set a tone of discomfort for everyone there!
Attendees later told me during dinner they did not even want to ask a question or open their mouth. What a disgusting display. The two tables sitting closest to mine apologized to me for his behavior and rudeness . It was absurd. Maybe he’s a financial advisor that needs anger management classes. I wouldn’t use him if my last nickel depended on it. I’ve been there many times and paid for my own food. Didn’t need your free meal Nick!
Apparently I was not the only person feeling that way. When I left and walked by the trash can outside of the restaurant, I noticed at least 15 of his booklets were thrown in there. In Didn’t need your free meal and did not like, deserve or appreciate your abusive manner Nick. You are like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld.” Maybe “ you’re good at finance ,but your people skills sure need a tweaking. At the end of the seminar, I left with my guest. Definitely left on a higher note and a bigger person than Nick could be any day of the week!

Glad I Finally Got Refunded
