T Dunn Builders Reviews

Jennifer Dunn 2026.09.24

T.Dunn Builders Ltd built our new house in 2024. Everything from design to completion went pretty much seamlessly. Todd listened thoughtfully to our needs and requests and patiently explained when we had questions. He was always available to contact. We found all the subcontractors were top-notch and there were actually no delays of any kind. The finished home was exactly as we had envisaged and basically faultless. Thankyou T.Dunn Builders for a job well done! Highly recommend. J.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have used T Dunn Builders for two major projects now—a butler's pantry and two complete bathroom renovations—and Todd and his team have been absolutely fantastic to deal with. Todd has been great at working within our budget while still helping us achieve what we wanted. His pricing was fair, he was incredibly flexible when we needed to make changes along the way, and he always worked with us to find solutions that suited our needs. The turnaround times were quick, the work was completed to a high standard, and the whole team was professional, approachable, and just genuinely awesome to have around. We couldn't be happier with the work Todd and his team have done for us and would highly recommend T Dunn Builders to anyone looking for a reliable, flexible, and great-quality building team! Thanks guys!!!

Todd is an excellent builder who completed some repairs to my rental property. He was very professional and made a excellent job of the repairs. He worked in well with my tenant and went beyond the call of duty to make her feel comfortable throughout the process. He also kept me well informed throughout the repair process Todd is an extremely skilled builder and one can see why he has won awards for his building. His attention to detail is apparent in any building project he undertakes. I would highly recommend Todd for any building job. He us by far the best builder I have ever had complete work for me

We recently purchased a newly completed house built by Todd and his team. The outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail is evident throughout the entire home and was a major factor in our decision to buy it. The quality of the build is exceptional, both on the surface and underneath. Todd has put just as much effort into what you can't see as to what you can, and this uncompromising high standard over the entire build from beginning to end is to us what sets him apart from many other builders. Todd's communication and organisation post-purchase have been excellent - hes very responsive to messages and things have been actioned quickly and efficiently.. Its a pleasure dealing with Todd and we couldn't be happier with our new home.

So far, so good! The team has been incredibly organised, professional and tidy. I love that they take care of the entire construction process, coordinating trades, timelines, deadlines and council inspections, so I don’t have to juggle it all myself. Todd is always available to talk things through, communication has been excellent, and they’ve been respectful of my budget every step of the way. I’m so happy I found this team and wouldn’t hesitate to use them for future renovations. Highly recommend!

We had a really great experience with Todd who built our shed house in Oxford. The whole process was very easy from start to finish which included the design through to construction. Communication was excellent, the quality of the workmanship was very high, and the build progressed at a really good pace. One of the challenges was that we were living in Auckland for most of the build and were managing things remotely. Todd’s communication made this surprisingly seamless. He kept us well informed throughout the build and we always felt confident that things were being looked after. The other contractors Todd brought onto the project were also great to work with and produced a high standard of work. We’re extremely happy with both the process and the finished result. We would happily recommend Todd and his team to anyone looking for a builder who is reliable, communicates well and takes pride in the quality of their work.

Bathroom Installation & Remodel Never before have I dealt with a business as professional as Todd Dunn Builders. From the 1st contact, through to the finished renovation, Todd and his team were clean, tidy, fast, yet worked to an extremely high standard. Nothing was a problem with them. Not only would I highly recommend this company, but they are so good, that they are coming back to do even more work for me.
