Had single glaze 100 year old+ sash window replaced with Upvc double glaze last Friday.Team arrived early did an 11hour day to complete job.
Put curtainrail back up for me and cemented a previously damaged windowsil.
Small issue with one window jammed that wouldnt lock but came out within a few days to rectify.
I underestimated the amount of soot/dust from old window. So i would recommend anyone considering replacement clearing room completely as soot spreads!
Window looks good and has made a huge difference with warmth and sound.
Will now consider using company again for quote for other work required

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review.
We’re so pleased to hear you’re happy with your new uPVC double-glazed sash window and that you’ve already noticed the difference in warmth and sound reduction — that’s exactly what we aim to achieve with these upgrades.
It’s great to know the team’s hard work and long day were appreciated, and we’re glad we could help with putting the curtain rail back up and repairing the damaged windowsill at the same time. Thank you as well for your understanding regarding the small locking issue — we always aim to resolve any snagging items as quickly as possible.
You also make a very good point about soot and dust from older sash windows. With properties of that age, there can be a significant build-up over the years, so clearing the room beforehand is definitely helpful advice for others considering similar work.
We really appreciate your feedback and would be delighted to provide a quote when you’re ready to move forward with the next project.
