I’m a heavy tartar depositor so I get 4 cleanings a year. I know it sounds strange but I look forward to my dental cleanings with the Taylor Family Dentistry staff. By this time (I’ve been a patient about 12 years), we’re old friends and it truly is more like a “visit” than a “treatment” session. I wouldn’t have stayed a patient for such a long period unless I recognized this practice is both supremely professional and competent and also profoundly compassionate and caring for their patients. They recognize each of us is an individual, with our own dental needs and personal preferences and they respect our choices. They have met, and continue to meet, my highest expectations.

It’s been a few years since I wrote the review posted below. I come in for dental cleanings on a quarterly basis, so I get to see the staff and the health of the practice pretty regularly. The practice has continued to thrive. The children of many adult adults Have now become independent adults themselves, and our patients of either Dr. Bob or Dr. Clay. In addition, there has been growth of the community and through word-of-mouth additional families are coming into the practice. Dental practice standards are maintained as high as ever, as are the Empathy and friendliness. We would all love to see in a healthcare provider, but don’t find very often. Here, it is a family tradition.
Dr. Clay is only a few years out of his fellowship training so he is fully abreast of the latest developments in dental practice. Dr. Bob may be older, but he has been a dental school faculty member for several decades, as well as an active practitioner. As a result, I am always pleasantly surprised to see new equipment or modified practices in place whenever I come in for my appointment.
There is very little else to say. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for my care And I can’t think of a better recommendation than that.
I’ve been coming to Taylor Family Dentistry for over a decade. As a physician, I’m pretty fussy when it comes to healthcare so let me outline what’s special about this practice. Dr Bob and Dr Clay (father and son respectively) take care to know their patients as individuals; they come to know your family, your pets and ask about them during visits. Their “bedside manner” is impeccable. The same is true for their staff. You don’t feel like a patient, you feel like family. The treatment rooms are big, bright and friendly. Most have large windows looking out into trees and sunlight, very calming, pleasant. Finally, Dr Bob is still involved in teaching at IU Dental school and Dr Clay, a recent graduate, is involved in bringing new services and techniques into the practice …. to benefit all of us. The administrative staff are part of the family as well, so all the usual appointment and insurance issues are handled promptly and efficiently.
I have no complaints. I actually look forward to coming to this dental practice … and so will you.
