What a treat! Since we had a little decision paralysis on what to order (not because the choice was poor - quite the opposite - everything sounded too delicious), we were happy the restaurant offers many of the items from the menu as a tapas portion. So we picked 5 different tapas and shared them and oh my! So delicious and well presented.
Had a chance to meet the owners and was glad to see they’re putting their hearts into what they’re doing - and it shows.
Oh and please make sure to leave some room for dessert - the Pavlova is phenomenal, so fresh & tasty!

Local chulo, muy aprovechado, me llamó la atención que había muchos "guiris" y que salieron muchas paellas.
- Tataki bonito ahumado: bueno, sin más.
- Crujiente de chivo malagueño: muy bueno.
- Fideuá tostada con langostinos y tinta de calamar: buena, pero algo seca.
- Croquetas de rabo de toro: buenas.
- Brioche de presa, shiitake y salsa de trufa: muy bueno.
- Tartar de atún rojo con helado de wasabi: muy bueno.
- Tiramisú: muy bueno.
Precios medios, tirando a altos. Con las tapas se pueden probar más cosas, pero el precio es alto.

Tasca Laska Malagueta became our go-to spot during a 10-day vacation — we ended up having dinner there three times, and honestly, it could’ve been more. The food was consistently sublime. Their seafood paella was so outrageously flavorful that we ordered it every single visit, and it hit perfection each time: rich broth, perfectly cooked rice, and seafood that actually tasted fresh, not the sad rubbery stuff most places sling. Service was another highlight. The team made us feel like regulars from night one — attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it. Rafa, Clau, and Dani are genuinely exceptional people who bring warmth and personality to the whole experience. If you’re anywhere near Malagueta and skip this place, you’re doing your trip wrong.
