It's been a few months since we went to this establishment, but the experience still bothers me, so I have decided to come and write a review to make others aware. .
We went out with a group of friends, and one of our friends was treated very, very poorly by the staff there.
The hostess seated our group and then told the only non-white person in our group that she would have to sit outside. She was more concerned about adding an extra chair to our table than she was about providing customer service or finding another table for us.
She created a very uncomfortable and very awkward situation for our group, as none of us had ever experienced anything like this before, and we did not know what to do. In hindsight, we should have all gotten up and left, but we were in shock and at a real loss.
I know for a fact that our friend wrote to the owners and the restaurant manager, and there was no response.
Everyone was very disturbed by this, and we did not go out for a few months. Anytime the subject of eating out came up, we would end up rehashing this very negative experience. It has made our little brunch group much more aware of where we go to eat now, and how to handle it if anything like this happens again.
The fact that the owners and manager were not responsive to her makes me believe this was not an accident; this is probably acceptable behavior at this establishment.
The Tap Room at Dubsdread is always amazing. We try to make it to magically dining at least once a year for their amazing special but we also go regularly to enjoy dinner. My husband enjoys their prime rib and I enjoy their pork chop! The service is always top tier, we love to sit outdoors on the deck, and we feel like family at Tap Room. When we reserve our table and let them know its our anniversary they leave us a lovely card waiting at the table. It is fun to see which names we remember.
We went for brunch today for our 4th time and the restaurant is amazing. The hostess was not so polite and welcoming, but our both servers Katherine and Rosie were amazing with us. We told them we were upset about the hostess treatment in our arrival and they told us they would do everything they could do bring us a better experience. And they did!!! Thank you so much!!!
It wasn't bad. We went for magical dining and it almost seemed like we got a little less attention because of it. We also didn't get the complimentary rolls that other tables got. We asked for separate checks and instead they just split the check down the middle. The food was tasty and plentiful though.
Date night
Went to dinner with my husband, and really had an enjoyable experience. Our server Hillary was absolutely the best, so friendly so attentive and made sure we were doing great and everything was perfect. Hillary was so on top of everything and didn't just leave you sitting there she checked on us several times she's definitely an asset to the company and should be recognized. The food was excellent we really enjoyed our meals the size of the portion of the food was perfect we had not one complaint drinks were excellent also. Highly recommend going and checking out their dinners they also have brunch on Sunday.
The food also came out in a timely manner and was cooked with perfection. We also met the manager Cassidy who was very sweet and very nice and told her how great her server Hillary was and how the food was very very good. So if you haven't tried this place go check it out, and ask for Hillary as your server if she is working that day. You won't be disappointed in the service or the food very nice atmosphere you can actually have a conversation.

Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had in Orlando. The staff was super friendly and they looked like they wanted to be there.
Our waitress, BA, was attentive and knew the menu inside out. She let her manager know we were there for the first time and the manager checked in on us a few times to see how we were liking everything. I don't think I could have chosen a better restaurant for Father's Day.
The food was delicious in every sense as well. We did the prime rib bites and buffalo shrimp for appetizers which were both highly recommended by BA and they were as good as she said. She recommended the crab cake to my wife for a main course and my wife was amazed with it. My oldest and I ordered burgers and they were super hearty as BA said they were and we ended up taking them home in boxes which BA packed for us. My youngest ordered chicken tenders which is all he ever orders at restaurants and he said they were probably the best he's ever had. Then we ordered dessert. We ordered the mud pie and it was the perfect combination of flavors to end the night.
Overall, one of the best experiences we've had in the Orlando area and we'll be going back to try as much of their menu as possible. Everyday they have a daily special and I intend to try each one.
