We have had other brands fitted at various times in the past. We won't be doing that again. This is the second house we have had fitted with security screens and doors by Taplin Security. From the first phone call to the finished installation, every step of the way is 100%. The products are manufactured here in Brisbane, and installed to absolute Millimetre perfection. Two things no one seems to talk about is the added privacy and heat rejection the mesh gives. Yes it's a real thing, and a welcome bonus to the primary goal of security. To everyone at Taplin, The wonderful office people, The owner who also gets his hands dirty with the measuring, fabrication and fitting, The installers, The manufacturers, Everyone that is involved, I Thank You. They produce a good quality product that suits your needs and the check measure and installation was quick and painless. However, they ran into manufacturing delays which from reading other reviews seems to be a recurring problem that has not been addressed. There was also little communication of this fact to me and involved me ringing up several times to check on the status of the order. Going forward I hope they address these issues with customer communication and manufacturing. Overall a lovely team at Taplin just working out a few kinks.

Australia also has a labour problem for manufacturing and construction. We are sorry your product took longer than expected, however we are happy that you like the product and completed installation.

Philippa you were advised in detail how the steel bar grilles would be manufactured and installed to clear any existing hardware associated with your hopper style windows. All existing hardware works perfectly and windows open and close exactly how they should. Your review is extremely misleading and false. Thank you.
