Dr Taggar and his team is great. I had vertical sleeve gastrectomy on April 30th 2026. No pain at all. I was walking the next day. I even got a picture of my stomach. The surgery was a decent price since my insurance & Lantern denied it. I am so happy with my results so far. I am looking forward to seeing my result in the future. I got my life back and my energy is endless.
The team works with you to get the best price if you are cash paid like me. If I would have used my insurance it would have been the same with all my crazy deductibles. The team is very professional and fun. Dr. Taggar treats all his patients like family. You will not be disappointed.

Dr Taggar performed SADI surgery on me 3 weeks ago. Every visit I had with him prior to the surgery, I felt he genuinely listened to all of my questions or concerns. The answers and explanations he provided made me feel confident in my decision to have the surgery, and to better understand the whole process.
Dr Taggar shows kindness, care and professionalism at each visit. His entire office staff at Tampa Weight Loss Institute have always been welcoming, professional and very friendly, both in person and over the phone. Tampa weight loss institute is very informative and open about the costs of everything, so there aren’t any surprises.
In these 3 weeks post surgery, I’ve already made great progress losing weight, had minimal to no discomfort, and knew if I had questions I could always contact Dr Taggar’s office for assistance. I went to Dr Taggar for gallbladder removal. He was very thorough with the pre-op testing and did a great job on the surgery. He was available to answer questions over the phone afterwards and the incisions are very thin and barely visible only 2 weeks after surgery.
