A huge thank you to Annette and Mark for creating a venue that my daughter has always dreamed of. Tahoma Plantation was the first venue we looked at and as a mom I was prepared for several more venue tours but after seeing Tahoma there was no need for any more visits because it was perfect in every aspect. Annette and Mark were always there for whatever we needed and if they weren’t they were only a phone call away. I can’t express the gratitude we have for them and what they have created to make our daughters and new sons wedding perfect!!!!

Tahoma plantation is beautiful!! Our daughter’s wedding, rehearsal dinner and reception were all held there. The staff is fantastic and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We booked the whole plantation which allowed us to have enough room for most of the wedding party and immediate family. Every part of the facility is lovely and we were treated very well. We wouldn’t change a thing. Our weekend was wonderful!

I traveled by motorhome from Arizona for a family wedding - wondering why it was on this "remote" location. I got the answer: wonderful grounds, really attractive, well-appointed and functional buildings - and super hosts. My family made a great choice for this most significant event!

From the moment Tahoma opened, I knew that I wanted my son’s rehearsal dinner there. I booked it 18 months in advance and before they had the opportunity to host very many events. Why? Because I already knew Annette and Mark and was confident that our special night would be exactly what I had envisioned. It wasn’t at all what I envisioned…it was SO MUCH MORE. These two are rock stars at the “venue” business. They will literally help in any way possible. They check on you throughout the process and offer suggestions on what has worked and what hasn’t at their past events. My son had 12 groomsmen and many were from out of town. The cabins were perfect for them to stay. They loved the “man cave” and were disappointed they didn’t have time to take advantage of the skeet shooting range. I’ve promised them a repeat visit in the future. Don’t waste a minute booking Tahoma. If you do…you will miss your opportunity and I promise….you WILL regret it. I can’t thank Mark and Annette enough for all their help and guidance. We had a blast and I hope I have the chance to attend many events in the future. As soon as I get my professional photos back, I’ll post them. (Warning…photos cannot capture the beauty of this place.) Spent the weekend at Tahoma Plantation and it was absolutely fabulous. The plantation is gorgeous and I would encourage anyone to take the time to stay there. Most amazing weekend with my KD sisters. Tahoma Plantation was the perfect setting to catch up and visit with friends. The accommodations are over the top and the venue is so beautiful and absolutely perfect for any occasion. Annette and Mark and their staff were so kind and accommodating. It was so hard to leave this beautiful venue but hopefully we can do this again.

We always have a great time at Tahoma Plantation from fun relaxing weekend getaways with friends to wine tastings and more. It’s a beautiful venue with the amenities that the Burkett’s have created! They have such an amazing eye for design, architecture and landscaping! The barn is beautiful as well as the chapel and check out the arrow house! Lots of stories and history and so worth a visit!
