Basically I was being sent to collections by a shady company that had no real reason to be doing so, and of course I got an email from Southwest recovery stating the issue and showing everything I needed to know.
I knew I didn't owe it so I worked with Sawyer back and forth and they did indeed confirm that the company was not supposed to be getting payment from me. Thanks guys for saving me a pretty big chunk of change!

🛑 READ BEFORE AGREEING TO USE SWRS!!!!!!!!
So I owed a debt and AGREED to make the payment on time- which I DID. Here’s the trick they use- they DO NOT TELL YOU, NOR SHOW ON YOUR RECEIPT once paid, NOR SHOW WHEN YOU PAY FROM YOUR CELL PHONE , that they deduct $8.95 per payment as a processing fee. Now- that fee isn’t the problem- except they never discuss it nor show it in any paperwork nor is it seen while processing on your CELL PHONE( I can’t speak to payments online because I never made one from my computer). So when you make the payment they only pay -$8.95 and send a receipt which shows u paid the FULL balance- and never shows that $8.95 is being chipped away from your balance due. Here is the kicker- I only found out because I hadn’t received a “final payment received notice”so I called them to ask for one and their automated AI said I still had a remaining balance of $30 some odd dollars. Once I got in contact with a real person (spoke to three REALLY RUDE IGNORANT AND ABERRANT BEHAVIOR SERVICE REPS one’s name was Justin) they we very harsh (like greasy sounding collectors from the 90s) stating this is a fact that they state and mention and show this $8.95 fee of which I said hey if you just tell your higher ups so they can correct this-( by this time I am willing to pay and just concede because I never want to encounter ANY OF THIS again).They kept transferring me to several other voicemails then after getting one decent rep because of having to call back in each time sent to voicemail to attempt Again to get a human with some sense I was transferred to and spoke to Randy a very rude and slimy sounding “manager” who want wanted to take my payment saying either I pay with him or call the company and pay the remaining $30 some odd dollars to them directly. Well because I had a relationship with the company of whom I owed the debt, I listened to Randy and chose to call them(obviously fell into a hard time)- I contacted them and was able to see my balance due (which showed I had only made 1 payment) and Southwest Recovery Systems had only sent them one of my payments in part) they had not paid them since my first months payment and it was -$8.95. Which means only a partial payment was sent to them not my full payment because of this hidden processing fee.The DIRECTOR OF FINANCE for the company of which I owed the debt was definitely taken aback as he had me screenshot my payments, receipts and the screen on their payment portal which states I have a $0.00 balance. He said this was concerning and told me to let him contact them- then after the holidays he would contact me. This was Friday so I am waiting to hear back on Tuesday and if I am able to update I will. DON’T use them, pay the debtor directly. Period! Slimy and greasy services with SWRS just pay the debt directly to the company you owe. They must have a heck of a sales team for companies to sign up with them to collect a debt. I hate that I owed, glad it’s over and hopefully I’ll never be in this situation ever again. 🛑

Southwest recovery services LLC has been harassing me for years. I have sent letters demanding to stop contact. When they call me from a number I do not recognize. I accidentally answer it and they want me to verify my information. I tell them straight up, I’m not verifying anything with you. What is the debt and who is it from. When asked, they say first we need to verify your information. I’m not verifying anything with you. If the calls do not stop, I will get a lawyer and Sue. Stop calling me or I will send a lawyer to your business. I do not owe you anything, stop calling me. If I get another call, I am going to answer it and I am going to cuss them out.
I am sure that you are being called by SRS and you have mistakenly added this negative review that is harmful to my business when this review has nothing to do with SWRS.

Horrible Experience with Southwest Recovery Services
My recent experience with Southwest Recovery Services has been nothing short of appalling. I tried multiple times to get in touch with them through their regular customer service channels, but my calls were never redirected to the right person. It was only when I called the sales team that someone finally picked up the phone—this alone is a glaring red flag about their priorities.
The issue at hand was an email I received from Southwest Recovery Services claiming that I owed money to ZenBusiness, a company I used to incorporate an entity in the U.S. During my call with them, I provided all necessary verification and informed them that ZenBusiness had already clarified that this debt should be canceled and disputed. However, instead of taking this information seriously, the representative I spoke to completely dismissed my concerns.
He outright told me that their job is to collect money, not to dispute anything. When I insisted that ZenBusiness had already canceled the debt and requested that they verify this information with ZenBusiness, he flatly refused. He then had the audacity to simply mark the issue as “disputed” and hung up the phone on me. The entire experience was mind-bogglingly unprofessional.
This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable. If you value decent customer service and don’t want to be treated with disdain, I strongly advise steering clear of Southwest Recovery Services. The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
