I had a great experience with Sustainable Plumbing & Air handling several different plumbing projects at my house, including a hot water heater installation and a toilet replacement. Matthew, the owner, answered calls personally and did a great job keeping me informed while coordinating with his crew. The work was skilled, clean and competitively priced. Of the several plumbing companies I've hired in Austin, this is by far the best.

I’m so happy I found Sustainable plumbing!! I thought we had a leak in our water line. Matt was very responsive. He sent Dakota out that same day and also later joined him. I'm normally a DIY kind of guy with 50 years of experience. This one, however, was beyond my scope. Matthew was very responsive, kept me informed of their availability, and offered me options suited to my needs. It was great working directly with the owner. I originally contracted for a sewage pump replacement, but when his master plumber arrived, he quickly realized the root issue was in the sewer line. They already had the right equipment in their truck, cleaned the line, and got me up and running in minutes. The master plumber also provided excellent information and tips, including placing a call to Austin Water to finish the city's portion of the clean-out (at no charge). All-in-all, excellent and responsive service. Well recommended.

Matthew and Zack were able to execute to perfection what we asked for. We wanted to move our tankless water heater indoors, and through scheduling and execution they were prompt, courteous, tidy, and very competent. In particular Zack was able to answer all the questions I had, and our water heater now sits inside our service room, a much more convenient location.

Something was off about how the toilet flushed, but I wasn’t sure what. Thank goodness Sustainable Plumbing came to take a look at it. There were roots growing up through the pipe! Zack was thoughtful, knowledgeable and practical with his approach. After removing the toilet, he showed me the problem and explained the next steps. Everything was cleaned up and put back in place when he was done. The toilet flushes great now and we couldn’t be happier with the plumbing and customer service we received from Sustainable Plumbing.

Plumbing Sustainable Plumbing & Air Installed the new tankless water heater and the pipe on the roof is open, and I’m worried the bird will get in, So I ordered 2 3 inch vent cap to cover the opening on both sides, I’m 69 years old, I can’t get up to the roof, Matthew the owner willing to come and help me install the vent caps, I appreciate what he did.
