Great tour. Not a fan of Captain Frenchy Restaurant.
The tour guide was excellent and the vehicle was very clean and comfortable. The only part of our tour that we didn’t love was the stop at Captain Frenchy in Grande Case. While the beach was lovely and the food was good, the male server/beach attendant was extremely rude. If I was doing this tour again, I would ask to go to a different restaurant. (Side note for those, like us, who are not familiar with the beaches of St Martin: Grande Case beach is top-optional).
Awesome day of seeing the whole island with no complications
We did the full loop with one beach stop. Family with kids so we need everything to be pretty active and engaging. From pick up at the port (despite traffic) everything was organized and well thought out. We were able to see everything we wanted to and a couple of things you'd never find on your own.We got it all in with plenty of time to spare with some good judgement about traffic patterns (as with every island). And of course the van was clean and had plenty of space for us.

I had high hopes for the private St. Maarten tour, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the tour had potential, I was disappointed by several aspects. Our guide seemed more focused on pointing out car dealerships and schools, which felt completely irrelevant to the experience I was hoping for. I expected more historical context and engaging stories, as I’ve had on other great tours, but that was lacking here.
One of the highlights I was looking forward to was seeing a large plane land at Maho Beach, but we only saw a small one, which was a letdown. The driver seemed new to the job, and when I reached out to the company to express my disappointment, they mentioned that he was indeed new and would contact other customers to see if they had a similar experience. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get in touch with anyone for verification.
Given the cost of the tour, I felt it didn’t deliver the value I expected, especially since the company has such high reviews. I’m sure they have other guides who provide a much better experience, but unfortunately, this one didn’t meet my expectations.
Amazing customized private tour!
Raj was wonderful. He allowed us to totally tailor our day based on our preferences. He had planned ahead and ordered the day so we could avoid the worst traffic and crowds. It was worth every penny. We will have great relaxing memories of St. Maarten thanks to this amazing tour service. Highly recommend!!!!!

Raj was a fantastic guide with a lot of knowledge about the island. He took us to great places that weren't crowded with people and timed the Maho Flyover just perfectly. We had a great time in this tour and would recommend anyone take it.

We had a great day w Kishore!! He was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations on places to go but was very flexible with what we wanted to see. He was also able to arrange transportation for us to other places we wanted to go throughout the week. Great family business!!

Our guide was excellent. Show up promptly at our resort in a nice comfortable vehicle. Took us to some great hidden spots. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to explore SXM for the first time.

Best Tour Around
Raj was an amazing tour guide and a fun guy to spend time with. He was thoughtful and attentive to our interests and took us to perfect places we never would have known about! We visited several beautiful spots for walks and pictures, visited a local chocolate store, had lunch at a fabulous waterfront restaurant, spent time on the beach at a relaxing beach bar at a calm water spot, stopped at an atm and store for supplies for our stay. It was truly a perfect way to spend our first day on St. Maarten!
Amazing Shopping Adventure!
We had a great shopping experience, stoping all over the island, with some beautiful photo ops along the way… Everything was timed perfect and we were able to detour when needed for bathroom breaks. A++ worth every penny!!! Thank you very much.
Harris was our guide and...
Harris was our guide and he was great. He is from the area so he knew the history and places to go to that we would never have found. He drove us around the entire island. We stopped at a local place for a wonderful lunch of fresh fish, etc. We asked him to stop in town at the end so one of us could do some shopping. He knew the owners and since we had done our homework beforehand, we know he helped us get even better deals. Very pleasant personality and a great person.

Our driver/guide was friendly (I am not remembering his name though) and very knowledgeable about both sides of the island. Saw Fort Amsterdam and Fort St. Louis (getting in some exercise doing so), explored Marigot, and had some incredible food at Cynthia’s. Just what we hoped for when booking.

The BEST way to see the island, beaches and culture of both sides! Highly recommend this! Horace was so much fun to hang with for this tour!!!!
Mama Gucci Rocks!
We were met by our tour guide/driver outside the cruise port. Mama Gucci was fantastic! She has an impeccably well maintained and clean van and took us all around the island. She not only showed us all the sights of this beautiful island she told us about the history and the differences between the French and Dutch sides of the island. She was friendly and very informative. It was a great tour and Mama Gucci is the best!
Best day-trip for St Maarten and totally customizable - Book it!
We had Raj as our guide for a half day tour of the island. Raj is fantastic! We learned a LOT about the local culture while visiting the following spots:1 - Juggie's burger stand. Honestly one of the best burgers we've ever tasted! The beef is seasoned with some secret spices, you do not want to miss this! 100% local.2 - Bell's lookout point. Nice view of the surrounding residences, marina's, etc.3 - Topper's Rhum Distillery. We walked out of here sideways, and it was a fun experience! Make 100% sure to buy one of the rhum cakes, they are fantastic.4 - Maho beach. Get in the water and follow Raj's advice to line yourself up with the yellow marker on the runway. The planes follow this line, so you'll be sure to get a photo or video with the landing plane right over your head.5 - The Lolos in Grand Case. Many local places to eat here and we had a fantastic seafood meal from Cynthia's.6 - Orient Beach at the Pirate Hideout. It was too windy to hop in the water, but make sure to ask for "the pink drink" at the Hideout. The staff are absolute characters as well, you'll have a great time!Tips:Bring swim suits, TOWELS, sunblock, and some small bills (USD) or euro. Some of the bathroom facilities require a dollar or so to access, and you'll want to have some cash on hand for tipping.To get to the pick-up from the cruise port:Follow the street signs for "EDC". Its about a 3-min walk past the bars and shops. When you get to the large roundabout, go left. You'll see a large rectangular parking lot, and to the right is a busy vehicle entry/exit security stand. That large lot is NOT where you need to be. Go all the way to the LEFT of that lot, and you'll see a separate tiny gravel/dirt parking lot with a very small 2-person guard station. That is where you need to go. Tell the people in that little booth you are looking for Sunita and/or Raj. NOTE: when we returned to this lot, and after Raj had left, the security guards would not allow us to walk OUT of the parking lot unless we showed them our Royal Caribbean "SeaPass" cards. I have no idea why, and I could not tell if they were actually serious. This COULD be a scam. If one of us didn't have our SeaPass card from the cruise ship, I am guessing the next step would be they would want money from us to pass. I am still not sure on this one. You have to have your card from the ship to disembark and re-embark anyways, so make sure you dont lose it!Overall this was the best day we had along our 7-day cruise on RC. Raj is entertaining and full of interesting information. If we're ever back in St Maarten, we'll definitely look Raj up to take us around to some different spots! Thanks Raj !

Mama Gucci was our tour guide and she is awesome! Took us to Great points of interest, hidden gems and had great stories! Very pleasurable day and saw alot we would have missed on our own.
Best of St Maarten with the Best Guide!
We absolutely loved our day spent with Kishore (Mr. Too Cool) from Sunita Taxi and Tours. He took us all over the island stopping at some very beautiful spots where we took gorgeous photos. We mentioned that we love the iguanas and he took us to a particular spot on the island where there were many quite large ones.He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand (two of us are hearing impaired). He even had a little stool that made it much easier to climb in and out of his very clean van. We stopped for lunch in Marigot and he highly recommended a restaurant called Rosemary’s. Wow, it was delicious. When you book a private tour, you get to do whatever suits you.We hired Kishore to drive us to a few other destinations on the following several days and each time he was prompt and wonderful. Highly recommend this company for any taxi and tour needs on the island.
Driver very meticulous...
Driver very meticulous about the SUV she was driving. Hard to see through the front windshield because the dashboard was covered in a white type fur and a white fur tail was hanging from the mirror area.
Absolutely the worst. Cancelled my tour the day before I arrived on cruise for no reason given. Looks like they raised price since I paid. Stay far away from these people.

Good afternoon Ryan, this Raj unfortunately my bus blew its head gasket, because of this i tried getting all opinions like trying to renting a another vehicle. Unfortunately being peak tourist season i had no luck because of this i had to resort to cancel the tour. We aren't a big company we get a max of 3 to 4 tour per week usually booked months in advance. The price increase doesn't affect whether we would cancel your tour or not first come first serve.
