I had a very positive experience with Sunbright Energy Ltd from initial enquiry through to installation and follow-up.
After getting several quotes, Oliver stood out immediately - not just because he responded quickly, but because he was the only one who maintained consistent, clear communication throughout. From our first phone call, he came across as knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Importantly, there was no sales pressure - just a focus on understanding my setup properly to design the right system.
We quickly moved to WhatsApp, which suited me well. I was able to send photos of the roof, fuse board, and preferred battery location, and Oliver’s questions were specific and insightful. It gave me confidence that the system design was being done properly rather than generically. When something needed more explanation, he sent concise voice notes rather than calling unexpectedly, which made the whole process very convenient around work.
The quote itself was clear, well-structured, and aligned with both my needs and budget.
Installation was smooth and well coordinated. Scaffolding, delivery, and installation all happened as planned, with no delays. The teams involved were professional, approachable, and respectful of our home - they worked efficiently, kept disruption to a minimum, and left everything clean and tidy.
Partway through the process, we decided to add an EV charger. I contacted Oliver and received a revised quote the same day, which was straightforward and competitively priced. It felt like no trouble at all to adapt the plan.
After the initial install, we realised we could benefit from a few additional panels. Even though I was away at the time, my wife felt completely comfortable contacting Oliver directly - something she wouldn’t usually do. The additional work was arranged quickly, and the second installation was completed efficiently and to the same high standard.
There was one minor hiccup with the scaffolding schedule when it needed to be repositioned at short notice. The team didn’t arrive on the expected day, but what stood out was how it was handled - Oliver responded immediately, apologised, and arranged for the scaffolding company to contact us directly. It was resolved quickly, and we felt well looked after throughout. That level of accountability made a strong impression.
The system itself has now been running for a few weeks and is performing well. Everything is working as expected, with no issues or unexpected downsides. It’s genuinely satisfying knowing that much of our electricity use is now being powered by solar.
Throughout the process, Oliver was also very helpful in answering more technical questions - everything from system optimisation to exporting excess electricity and DNO permissions. He was always responsive and professional, which made a big difference in feeling confident about the investment.
Overall, I’d have no hesitation recommending Sunbright Energy Ltd. The combination of strong communication, technical competence, flexibility, and professionalism made the whole experience straightforward and reassuring.

In my search for a highly rated Solar expert 2 years ago when I had a problem with my existing installation,I was very lucky to come across Sunbright Energy and was even luckier to be speaking to the MD Oliver who immediately came across as a very personable person as born out by many Google reviews I had read.
His technical knowledge was very impressive and gave me great confidence to find a solution to my problem with minimum outlay.
More recently I rang them again and found myself speaking to him again-this is so re-assuring to see that the MD of a firm,when available, makes a point of answering in person,something so rare in today's climate and is good to see that his approach had not wavered over the 2 years of my first contact!

Efficient and neat work start to finish, always helpful
Oliver and the whole team at SUNBRIGHT Energy were very professional from the upstart all the way to the after care.
Oliver provided a very prompt response to our first enquiry, followed by a very comprehensive and professional proposal. He was very matter of fact and definitely not pushy.
The team was punctual and efficient. When they experienced a couple of technical glitches, they went above and beyond to sort them out. They cleaned after themselves and even offered to come back to fixe a couple of touch ups.
Now the system is up and running, Oliver is always prompt to answer our queries, even sorting out technical issues while on holidays (which to be honest he shouldn’t but very appreciated!)

I had a big problem with my off peak battery storage system which was only 1 year old. Problems were due to original installation and incorrect set up programming by Soly.

Sunbright have been excellent in sorting out our solar panel system - the battery system from another supplier wouldn't work (that supplier now in prison) and we now have a fully functioning and monitorable one. The guys that did the installation were tidy and polite and explained what they were doing. We had to have additional cabling put in place as the original company fitted a sub-standard one, the guys came back and completed the installation at no extra cost to us.
