We have just had dinner here.. the food was actually alright but I had a chicken cube (shish) which was raw the whole way through. I mentioned this to the waitress - she took it and I didn’t even get an apology. If I had eaten that I’d be ill and potentially in a serious state. I was expecting at least an apology or discount on the food. For this they don’t deserve anything over 2 stars.

Great food with fast service, nice calm atmosphere and polite staff. Overall very nice experience. Tip is included in final bill but the food is also good portions and priced reasonably. Also bonus points for complimentary salad and flat bread.

We had a very pleasant experience dining here. The food was genuinely tasty and well-prepared, and although the prices are a bit higher compared to other local Turkish restaurants, the quality definitely came through. A special mention goes to Mihaela, our waiter, who truly went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. She was warm, attentive, and consistently professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, a very nice experience and one I would happily recommend.

It was very quiet. Maybe because it was early. Perhaps you should do like some restaurants up north do. And provide an early bird special. The food we had though was delicious, and I would recommend to others

I would give zero stars if possible. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. As a Muslim, I often choose Turkish restaurants for my family because I trust the food will be halal, but unfortunately this was the worst experience I have ever had. First of all, the entire restaurant was freezing. I complained several times and was told the heater was on, and that the cold might be due to people opening the entrance door. Despite this, my children and I were literally shivering and couldn’t stay comfortable. The drinks were also incredibly disappointing. We ordered three pina colanda and they were a complete waste of money—watery, filled with ice that didn't melt, and lacking flavour. My mixed grill shish kebab was so salty that I could barely chew it and kept needing water to swallow. After I complained, a staff member tasted it and agreed it was extremely salty, so they didn’t charge me for it. Still, the experience was already ruined. My kids ordered chicken burgers. My eldest forced herself to finish hers because she hates wasting money, but my son couldn’t eat his at all. We took it home, but even then, he still couldn’t eat it and it ended up in the bin. To make it worse, the online menu lists the chicken burger as £15.50, but inside the restaurant it was over £16. The portions are very small for the price and definitely overpriced. Charging a 12.5% service charge (£6.95) on top of everything else is shocking considering the overall experience. I only came because I wanted to treat my children, but I regret it completely. The £62.30 I spent was not worth it in the slightest. My little boy kept asking to leave because it was too cold inside. I will never be returning, and I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. I have a large platform on social media, and I will be sharing my honest experience so my followers know what to expect before visiting any restaurant. Reply: Hi Miheala - to respond to you, I mentioned the coldness a few times & the response you gave was what I wrote above. I complained about the drink to both yourself and the other lady, I complained about the whole food to you and their no point of denying/lying that no complained was made. As I have said previously that I did managed to finished my food using drink to flushed it down because I do not want to waste my money, however you admitted that your food was truly salty or didn't you? & I added that i wasn't charged for the food & that's because the food was truly bad, my son's burger was packed to take away hoping he will eat it but he completely detest it and ended up in the bin. Your food is high overrated and you should take to correction. After posting my unbiased review on tictok and IG, a few people who has been at yours agreed with me. I am a licensed & insured chef with 5 star rating and over 2,000 satisfied happy customer, take this from me and improve yourself. Additional - your food are highly overpriced.

First time trying Turkish food, first time in sultan and it was an experience, I was served by Mihaela and I hope I spelt her name right. She suggested the grilled ribs which was amazing and the salad with pomegranate was lovely. I was offered complimentary desert and tea after the mean and I honestly think that’s a wonderful touch. Will definitely be back.

The meat is outstanding - many grills we’ve been to have lamb that is quite fatty, but the meat here had little to no fat on it, and it was sooo tender. The rest of the dish was great as well, lamb Shish. It was £21 for a large which, I don’t know it seems a little on the steep side but tasted lovely.

I had an amazing experience at Sultan Sofrası. The service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the family platter and it was incredible with perfectly grilled meats, fresh salads, soft bread and generous portions all around. Everything was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Definitely coming back again and highly recommend it. Michaela and Tez was great and met all our needs.
