Stayed at The Lookout for two nights. Absolutely amazing. Attention to detail is great including a generous welcome pack and clear instructions on everything and everything worked!! Projector screen and sound bar, smart tv with Netflix and wood burner kept us well occupied and cosy. Hot tub clean and outside deck area massive. Bathroom also great with large walkin shower. Whole place very quiet, private and peaceful. Would fully recommend for a romantic get away. I arranged as a secret and wife was in tears when we went over the rope bridge and arrived in the treehouse. They were happy tears btw!! Well done Rachel and Sam (and me!)

We stayed here for our mini honeymoon, it was so peaceful and quiet. We wanted to feel relaxed after our wedding. We couldnt fault anything, it was perfect. We will definitely be back.
It was the perfect getaway for us to reconnect, and felt like a world away with the views and private facilities! Everything was high end and beautifully done throughout.
A truly elysian experience of forest bathing : from watching deer emerging at twilight whilst relaxing in the private tree house sauna , counting shooting stars from the hot tub ,falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook and waking to a sunrise of bird song. The open invitation to wander along cascading streams and bluebells in the emerald woodland was like being inside a Pre-Raphelite painting. The total luxury of the Tree House meant you could simply let go completely to fully enjoy the beauty all around.
Wolf Wood is a fantastic place for a break. We booked two nights in the spa treehouse, and the only downside was having to go home.
The location is greatâa short drive from the moors with lots of options for hiking, visiting local pubs, and points of interest. When you see how nice the treehouses are, you might just want to stay inside. Ours had a hot tub, sauna, wood burner, and even a projector in the bedroom! You can't beat a long hike followed by a soak in the tub, a glass of vin rouge, and a log fire.
Special mention to the TV, which had several streaming services available, so we had our choice of films to watch in the evenings.

On our 5th vist to wolfwood we stayed at the lookout We was blown away as all ways by the attention to detail rachel and Sam add to every tree house The surrounding area is beautiful if you wish to go out , plenty to do and vist Or take the short stroll down to the woods light the fire and toast them marshmallows An unexpected treat was watching the bats wizz around as dusk fell while sitting in the hot tub Once visited you will return

Total luxury , silence is golden and it truly is there , just nature to listen too
New addition for us was the hot tub , nice way to chill out in the evening with a beer
The owners are hands on for any situation and advice , nothing is to much for them.
Proud they should be too for all the great memories they are providing

I made an early booking with Wolf Wood Treehouses to secure a 3 night stay in Black Wolf treehouse, at the end of March, to celebrate my husbandâs 60th Birthday. From the outset, everything was perfect. E-mail queries were responded to quickly and efficiently and making payment was straightforward. Although I had watched the videos and read all the positive reviews, they just couldnât convey just how wonderful the treehouse and surrounding woods are in reality. The stay was a complete surprise for my husband, whose breath was taken away as soon as he laid eyes on the Black Wolf treehouse, and didnât diminish as we looked inside. We couldnât believe the standard of the accommodation. Everything was immaculate and so clean; obviously well taken care of by housekeeping and respected by guests. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was outstanding and the guests every need so well considered: well equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, oven and hob and coffee maker, plentiful supply of wood for the fire, fairy lights, binoculars, robes, slippers, towels, quality toiletries, toys and games, Bluetooth speaker, projector and screen, tv, diffusers, blankets, hairdryer, books, matches, candles, maps, even down to a tick remover! The only thing that I forgot to pack that I would have appreciated, is hand cream. The basket of âgoodiesâ provided was exceptional. We have never had treats of such high quality provided. The hot tub was AMAZING. I seem to have found a cure for my arthritis pains. We were certainly kept warm, courtesy of the wood burner which really threw out some heat . It was lovely to find out more about the eco credentials of Wolf Wood Treehouses and do our bit during our stay. The weather was mostly very kind to us, and even though it rained on my husbandâs birthday, it in no way spoilt our enjoyment of our stay, since we could cosy up inside the treehouse reading, playing games or dining in. We stayed at the treehouse for the entirety of our stay as we couldnât bare to leave it to sightsee around Devon. We did venture into the woods which we enjoyed. The ambience of the place is just incomparable. Just birdsong and the sounds of nature, all in a beautiful and private setting. I truly believe that if we had been lying, instead, on a tropical beach far away we couldnât have felt more at peace. It was so hard to leave the treehouse, but someday we hope to return. We canât thank the hosts enough for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed in the spa treehouse, which was beautiful with stunning views across the rolling hills to Dartmoor. Peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and luxurious. Watching the sun go down sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub was amazing. A perfect romantic getaway.
My girlfriend booked the Lookout as a suprise for my birthday and we werenât disappointed! Absolutely beautiful! Have recommended Wolf Wood Treehouses to all or friends and we will definitely be coming back đ

Wonderful few days break watching the sun rise and then at night star gazing all from the hot tub.
Try to book the Spar tree house with the perfectly positioned hot tub and brilliant sauna in the lower part of the tree house.
Book early though as its already almost fully booked for 2026.

We have just had our second stay in The Lookout Treehouse. Sam & Rachel have thought of every little detail to make your stay as perfect as possible. The comfiest bed, lovely HOT hot tub, log burner for the colder nights, and a lovely woodland walk by the river, so there is no need to leave once you've arrived. We had another fantastic meal from Li's kitchen too. We will certainly be back as soon as we can.

A very peaceful and relaxing stay. We really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The treehouse was immaculate and there was everything there that you needed. We will definitely be returning.
We booked the Stargazer treehouse for my 50th birthday and loved it!! The sauna and hot tub were amazing. The whole tree house was spotlessly clean and had every amenity you could want. Location was perfect with lots of walking within easy reach. Cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.
