With negotiations failing with the dealership directly I turned to Stormcatcher Law. The case they prepared following the consumer rights act helped me to reach an out of court settlement. We came across Stormcatcher Law by chance really watching YouTube. There was an interesting piece on Consumer Law and our rights as a Consumer in connection with a vehicle that we had recently purchased. It was an absolute eye opener and we had no idea that this was a thing. So on the back of watching the YouTube video, we contacted Stormcatcher and gave them a synopsis of our situation. They kindly looked at it for us, we had a conference call with Philip Harmer and he explained our rights under the Consumer Credit Act 2015, pointed out why we had rights under the Consumer Credit act, and the process it takes. We have chosen to proceed and exercise our rights as a Consumer under the Consumer Credit Act, as we are heavily out of pocket, and the costs incurred within 5 months of buying the vehicle, is almost as much as we paid for the vehicle, with a very dodgy warranty. We think this is money worth spent for the legal advice as we had no idea that we had these rights, so we are very glad to have found Stormcatcher. Stormcatcher have laid out the basis of our claim which has now been submitted accordingly.

If you are reading this comment hoping to use Stormcatcher Law, I was very much like you of what to expect, wanting to make sure I'm using the right people to help my case. Going down the legal route is very scary and you want someone there to help you though. They are only legal advice experts, so can only help so far, but I can say I got my monies worth with them over the years and I am so very grateful. My case was a very complex and drawn out by the other side, but Stormcatcher Law was there to help as much as they could which saved me money on solicitor costs. I personally find being respectful and polite goes a long way and with this in turn, they are very keen to help in every way they can and I highly recommend them to anyone. Spoke to Phillip last year regarding a case in which I was being taken to court by a motor dealer, they tried suing after scamming me essentially and I was in an absolute panic just seeking any advice I could. A 15 minute conversation with Philip was a game changer in my case with The Trade Centre UK and my finance company.
