We worked with Alex on our project. We know nothing about staircase construction and repairs so trust in any contractor we would hire is paramount. Well Alex deserved our trust from the first calls and e-mails that lead to securing a date for repairs to our 25-year-old basement staircase. All 10 steps and 2 landings have been cracking (more than squeaking) for over a decade. We finally found SBG after years of searching. It has now been 48hours since Alex completed this 4.5 hour job. He told us that we may hear some slight “clicks” due to the age of the structure and he is correct. That said, I can honestly say that the noise has been reduced by 98% at least. We are extremely pleased !! I highly recommend SBG for Alex’s workmanship and attention to the client. Well done!!

Alex showed up for an estimate on Friday and was able to complete the job the very next day. We have a 1.5 year old at home and the squeaks of the floor and stairs wake him up. The night of Alex’s visit, little guy was put to bed and did not budge when we walked out of the room. Alex is very diligent ensuring highest quality and care in his work. We had some very squeaky floors in our apartment and upon inspection of our situation were given realistic expected results. The area that had to be repaired was not small.
