Stephen is the most knowledgeable arborist I have ever met and spent a good deal of time explaining to us how the trees should structurally be managed, and that the lion tailing that most arborists are doing around here, and in the Bluffs, is shortening the life of the trees and making them more dangerous during storms. I interviewed a number of arborists for our project. Stephen was incredible. He has a wealth of experience and handles every aspect of our project.
I called Stephen because I wanted structural pruning of some younger oaks, royal poinciana and others surrounding my driveway. He took the time to consider all the trees at play and I am confident they will grow out properly. He also gave some feedback on some larger tree maintenance and took care of that as well. I like the higher level thinking and skill brought to the work. Definitely someone passionate about trees.

Stephen Davis is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. After a large oak tree unexpectedly fell in our yard, our HOA brought in a very well-known local tree service that had been caring for the trees in our community for over a decade. Their solution was to cut several more trees. That did not feel right to me, especially because the oak trees are such an important part of our community’s beauty and character.
I asked Stephen to come out and evaluate the trees, and I was blown away by his expertise. His written report was extremely detailed and reflected an impressive level of professional knowledge. He identified poor tree management and improper trimming practices, including lion tailing, as major issues.
