Would come back. ☺ Central location. Plus the hot tub. ☹ Could not control heating easily. Could do with a deep clean.

We loved the coziness of the cottage, and the location was perfect for walking into town ☺ Location was perfect, an easy walk into the village and for touring ☹ Parking was a little further than we could like, especially in rainy weather A thermostat in the hot tub would be nice

Great location. ☺ We have stayed in Dormie a few times before, location is amazing and the garden size is great for our dogs. ☹ The property is needing renovated, on arrival all the windows had been stripped back and not finished so looked very tired. The chairs in the kitchen, were all marked along with the bathroom that had a sign on it saying they know it looks tired to have an awful smell. We did advise and the cleaner came to put drain cleaner down. We work in construction and the smell seems to be from the drains or perhaps a leak that has not been repaired. It's a shame, as we felt for the price we paid compared to other properties in the village it was cheeky.

Great place, great town, friendly locals. ☺ Breakfast was not provided. Location was great, easy to walk downtown. Lots of natural light, very quiet! Great shower, wonderful towels, loved the towel heater. Outdoor sensor lights, great. Off street parking good. ☹ Comfortor cover without a sheet was rough and uncomfortable. It was warm several nights and the beautiful comfortor was too heavy and there was not a lighter option. 1 guest had a very flat pillow , more like a pad. The write up states toiletries were provided, only thing was toilet paper and liquid hand soap. Small soap and small shampoo would have been nice.

☺Das Tiny House liegt an der Straße zwischen Ballater und Balmoral. Das einchecken war unkompliziert, es gab vorab alle Infos über den Chat inklusive des Schlüsselcodes. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt vor einem kleinen Nutzgarten der Besitzer und ist insgesamt nicht ganz so abgeschieden, wie es auf den Fotos aussieht, was okay ist. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist ordentlich und ausreichend für ein paar Tage. Die Aussicht auf die heidebedeckten Hügel ist super und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es ist super gemütlich. So haben wir uns am ersten Tag entschieden nach der Ankunft einfach den Rest des Tages in der Unterkunft zu verbringen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Unterkunft wirkt irgendwie entschleunigend. Die Nähe zu Wanderrouten ist super. Man kann kleinere Touren auch direkt dort starten. Die Badewanne im Außenbereich haben wir nicht genutzt, da das Wetter nicht so toll war und wir auch den Aufwand gescheut haben. ☹Auf unserer Schottlandreise hatten wir Recht viel Gepäck dabei. 2 größere Reisekoffer lassen sich schlecht im Tiny House verstauen und es gibt auch sonst wenig Möglichkeiten Gepäck unterzubringen oder aufzuhängen. Das ist insbesondere bei nassen Sachen etwas ungünstig. Während das Aufstellen der Leiter und das nach oben krabbeln ins Bett zu Beginn noch toll waren, war es für uns an Tag 3 eher etwas lästig, zumal man das Bett nicht verlassen konnte ohne den anderen zu wecken. Die Ausstattung war insgesamt okay und super sauber, das Bad ist aber wirklich sehr eng. Verglichen mit anderen Unterkünften unserer Reise, darunter Gartenhütte und umfunktionierte Garage fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier nicht stimmig und zu teuer. Insgesamt war uns das Tiny House auch etwas zu Tiny ;) Dennoch eine gute Erfahrung

Very Good ☺ Amazing cottage in a great location with shops, restaurant's and bars within a 3 min walk. The house had plenty of space and was very cozy. ☹ Arrived at 4pm and the house wasn't ready as the cleaner was still cleaning but she was very apologetic. The hot tub had no temperature gauge. key locker was not the easiest to use and kept on jamming up. Bike locker padlocks very rusty and had to use cooking oil to free them off. Shower keeps on dripping 24hrs even after double checking that it was off.

Highly recommend, hopefully we will be back again to try one of the other properties! ☺ Super cool little house! The bed in the loft space with the window out to the fields was great looking up to the night sky and out onto the fields in the morning was very relaxing! The wood fired bath also was very cool getting a nice warm bath while looking into the clear skies! Also kitchen was brilliant although we didn’t use it as we visited the Clachan grill and the Lochnagar India which were both brilliant! ☺Nem og god kommunikation. God information om huset og om mulighederne i området. To gode dobbeltværelser. Fint bad og rart med ekstra toilet. God beliggenhed i en meget hyggelig lille men levende by!
