Beds were ultra comfortable
Great having bathrobes provided, we sometimes take our own.
Easy parking
Free wi fi (our O2 mobile signal not good) so WiFi was great
Nothing too much trouble for Kimberley.
We were visiting our grandchildren in Newton Aycliffe and had a great time playing with all the games provided
Shower pressure good and had rain and adjustable head
Will definitely return

Very welcoming and relaxing property.
☺A cosy little cottage in a pretty village. The cottage had all that you required with lots of nice touches, like home made biscuits supplied by the owner.
A quaint cottage with all mod cons and the ambience of a 17th century cottage tastefully decorated.
We were there to visit Kynren and it proved to be the ideal location.
We had evening meal at the Bay Horse Inn directly across the road. Food was excellent but it’s definitely a must to book a table before your arrival day as it is very busy.
Thank you to the owners for a pleasant stay. Would we stay again? YES, definitely.
☹This is not a complaint, just an observation, plug sockets not available near a mirror for drying hair etc.

It’s usually incredibly hard to find a 2 bedroom location but i’m glad i found this for our trip to Kynren! The host is incredibly friendly and the accomodation is beautiful in a lovely location nice and quiet. No problems whatsoever and because of finding this hidden gem we are planning to return in future to discover some more of the surrounding area other than Kynren!

☺It was great, the home is cosy and clean.
The location is superb, with the Bay Horse serving excellent food and drink just across the road. It's a quiet village, so felt very serene whilst at the same time you had easy access to all the amazing experiences the local area had to offer.
We visited Kynren with the family, this was only 15 minutes drive away and was a fabulous day out for everyone.
The house is beautiful and the level of detail both in how the home is decorated and also all the little extra amenities showed how committed the hosts are to ensuring you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay, albeit only for one night to attend Kynren. The home was spotless and comfortable, all amenities were available and we felt very happy returning late at night. Kimberley responded very quickly to all messages. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Stay Northside in June 26 and it is an amazing cottage. Very homely, great decor, with everything you would need and more when you are away from home. There were even dressing gowns available to use. Kimberley is a lovely host and reliable in case of any questions or needs. It has been the best airbnb experience myself and my husband have had.

A hidden gem!
☺The property was exceptionally clean, well furnished and decorated to a high standard. They really had provided everything you could possibly need. Really comfy and cozy cottage in a peaceful village location. Parking a bonus if needed. Situated across the green from a wonderful pub/restaurant, highly recommended! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. You can tell they really care about their guests and their property. Would definitely return!

We stayed 2 nights at this quaint 2 bed home, we were looking for a sleep English village and we found that here.Kimberley was fantastic great communication from the outset and was available if we needed her throughout the stay. The property was well furnished, clean and most importantly exactly as described. Really clear instructions left for everything from how the home worked to all the local parish walks. There was even some spare bits and bobs incase you forgot some toiletries & milk in the fridge for arrival.Super comfortable beds and quality bedding too! If you’ve ever wanted to cosy up in front of a fire with a book in an old English home in an old English village - this is it.Thank you for a great stay,Suzanne

Northside is a superb holiday cottage, with all the amenities you could ask for and set in a lovely little village with lots nearby.We were extremely comfortable, the cottage was pristinely clean and the interior was lovingly curated to match the period of the property. I stayed with my sister and grandparents for one night and we had a fantastic time. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the North East.Thank you for a great stay Kimberly!

Perfect stay at Northside. We were in Durham visiting the university and needed somewhere to stay as we were travelling quite a distance. Lovely space and very peaceful. It was lovely to have all the little things like milk, tea and coffee. The home made shortbreads were delicious as well.
