This will be long, but honest…. First, this was an experience with a few hiccups and miscommunications, as a business owner, I know that it happens, and part of it was my fault. But that’s not where Status gets my 5 stars. My rating comes from how does a company handle it when it happens. Status reached out to me on a follow up from a year prior. We figured storm season was approaching so maybe waiting another year on a roof with a few issues might not be a good idea. They had an inspector come out, give an assessment and we agreed it should be replaced. During the process, Status was more than helpful in terms of communication, Madison was very on top of communicating any changes or issues leading up until the day. When the day came, I admittedly, in a rush, hadn’t endorsed the check deposits for the down payment and the funds needed to hold until I cleared the endorsement issue. But it was already in the mail so we couldn’t just run down and sign them. So we had to reschedule the initial install date. This caused a cascading effect in rescheduling with Status as well. So the day came of the rescheduling and a truckload of materials showed up, but no crew. Finally, the field supervisor came by and to his surprise as well, no work was being done. After what seemed like another hour, Madison texted me and said a crew would be there in 30 mins. And they were. They got there, went straight to work, and got us an entirely new roof put on in what seemed like 8 hours flat. I was impressed. Not only that, they came back the next day just to make sure they cleaned up properly and fix anything they didn’t catch before. The owner even dropped by to make sure everything went smooth. I would recommend this company to anyone. They’re fast, openly communicate, friendly, and do great work.

Carlos was amazing. He got up on my roof and explained that there was some small areas of damage, but said that there was nothing that needed to be addressed at this immediate time. No sales tactics or pressure. I wish more companies operated in this manner. When I do have a roof issue he will definitely be the person I call. He took pictures of everything he saw. After the hail storm in September 2025, our home had major roof damage along with several other areas that needed work. I originally started with another company, but after weeks of going back and forth and not feeling confident in the process, I decided to start over. Thankfully, my dad connected me with Sergio Lara at Status Roofing, and I’m so glad he did. Sergio jumped in right away, got the ball rolling within a day, and even worked directly with my mortgage company to keep everything moving. I highly recommend the inspector who handled my repair! Special thanks to Jonathan Huerta! He was honest and professionally knowledgeable, and what stood out to me most was how he oversaw the repair from start to finish. Instead of pushing a full roof replacement, he explained that only a small repair was needed—and he took the time to walk me through everything in detail (I know nothing about roofing).
