Aunty Melinda, Mei Lin (ST184) is a very meticulous nanny and takes good care of my baby and me. She is hardworking and I can see that my baby likes her alot. I've 2 other children and she is a great help as she cooks for us and our children. She also helps to maintain our kitchen well after every cook (really clean and floor is not wet). Also, she follows carefully all the steps of bathing baby from her training, and my baby seems to enjoy her to bath as I rarely her cry! Overall, I'll really recommend you to get her during your confinement!

Couldn’t be more grateful to Winnie and the STAR team for connecting us to our amazing confinement nanny, Auntie Chong Lin Lin. We originally engaged her for 2 months, but ended up extending her stay with us for another 3 months. During her time with us, I always felt our baby was in the very best hands. Auntie Lin Lin has so many amazing qualities, it will be hard to provide an exhaustive list. First and foremost, Auntie Lin Lin is an exceptionally experienced and dedicated professional. She is extremely knowledgeable about baby care and very safety oriented, so much so that after observing her for a day, I knew I could fully trust her with our baby. She is kindhearted, positive, trustworthy, dependable, patient, light-hearted, and possesses a very gentle personality that’s well suited to taking care of babies. She’s also very flexible and adaptable to our family idiosyncrasies and last minute requests. We even took her along on a last minute international trip with our baby at 3 months — she made the long journey look so easy and our travel experience was fuss-free. She also interacted well with our (mischievous) 6 year old and our long-term family helper, so much so that by the end of her time with us I felt that she had become a part of our family. Our baby is now 6 months old and is very healthy and happy — all thanks to Auntie Lin Lin’s dedication, love, and care! Her cooking was also great. In the 5 months she was with us, she rarely repeated dishes. There was always something new to try. If you are looking for a confinement nanny, you won’t regret engaging Winnie and her team at STAR Confinement. They were extremely dependable and responsive to all our questions (even outside of office hours). They also proactively managed all required MOM paperwork and permits. Winnie also took care to match us with Auntie Lin Lin, taking the time to learn about our family and our unique needs and concerns. Before we settled on Auntie Lin Lin, Winnie organised a face to face meeting with her so we could feel comfortable with the match. I also wanted to add that before staring with us, Auntie Lin Lin caught the flu and was sick for a few days, Winnie was concerned about exposing our newborn and took the initiative to arrange a replacement, Auntie Avery (who was also very good!). She stayed with us for a few days until Auntie Lin Lin recovered. Thank you again Winnie and team!

Jean has experience as confinement nanny for newborns and also able to take care of older babies. She has high standard of hygiene and we fully entrust our son under her care. Jean has a bubbly personality and has blended well into our family. She genuinely loves children and has strong passion in her work. Jean is a good recommendation to anyone seeking confinement nannies or even for longer periods.

Was so scared to be a first time parents to a twins. Super thankful to have both Yong Chin Moi (Jessie) ST358 and Jacqueline (Yen) ST321 as our nanny. They take good care of the twins, handling the night duties too, which I am able to fully rest and recover during this one month. The food they cook is super yummy and they are super great with dogs and cat too! Highly recommend them if you are looking for confinement nanny!

Nanny Chong Ah Moi did the second half of my confinement month for me due to some unforeseen circumstances with the previous nanny. Despite the short period of time, I can tell that she's a very experienced nanny with great time management. She took care of all the night feeds with ease (her immediate response to baby's cries was incredible) and on top of that, also ensured that i had sufficient time to nap in the day even if it meant that she had interrupted naps herself. With her cheerful and positive demeanor, it somehow made things seem easier. My milk supply gradually increased as a result. She was also very open to teaching my new helper how to handle the baby and got along well with my helper which was a bonus. Also thankful to Winnie for the very prompt assistance in helping with the nanny replacements and for recommending a suitable nanny. This is my second time using Star and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone who needs its services!

She was also more than gracious about hosting and cooking for our extended family on several occasions. Beyond baby care and cooking, Auntie May helped manage our entire household seamlessly. She willingly taught our helper how to prepare her dishes so we could continue enjoying her cooking after she left. We trusted her completely—so much so that we felt entirely comfortable going out for date nights and running errands without worry. We barely even felt the need to check our cameras because we had such complete confidence in her care. Auntie May brought such a pleasant, positive energy to our home. It’s been five years since Auntie Ann helped with my firstborn’s confinement, and we’re so lucky to have her back this time for our second! Honestly, I had a confinement holiday this round! All I did was eat, sleep, latch, and pump. I had so much rest that I even had time to play games on my Steam Deck, chat with friends, and take tons of newborn photos and videos. I absolutely love Auntie Ann’s cooking. It’s so good that I’ve even asked our new helper to learn her recipes! My favorites are her Beehoon, Minced Meat Egg Tofu, and the Tong Shui, especially warmed up Papaya milk (traditional Chinese desserts). Every afternoon, she would serve me a rich, thick bowl of Red Bean Soup or Sweet Potato Soup, always perfectly sweetened to my liking. She also tailored the baby’s feeding routine based on my preferences. I usually latch first before pumping, so the milk she feeds my baby after that feels perfectly adjusted to my baby’s growing needs. Even though my newborn makes a lot of noise day and night, Auntie Ann would always sacrifice her own sleep to soothe the baby, making sure I could rest well after childbirth. We’re truly so grateful to have her with us again. She made our confinement experience smooth, peaceful, and full of care. ❤️

Throughout the whole confinement period of a month , we are very lucky to have 琴姐 from Star Confinement Tan Lay Khoon ST326 , as we are first time parents , she is very patience and guide us along on the steps needed to take on how to manage a newborn. Always reminding my wife to sit down or rest or even walk slowly for better recovery after childbirth. I must also comment much about her superb cooking skills as almost every meal that she cook is always to a certain standard. Especially her deep fried and steam fish. If whoever engage her please request it from her. It’s really good. Apart from cooking , she is very good on choosing groceries , always picking the best and most fresh parts of the groceries she is going to cook. She plan well ahead of the meals she is going to prepare for the whole month of the confinement period without any groceries wastages. Which is really commendable too. Upkeeping the kitchen cleanliness and very well organized. No matter how tired she is , she will always try her best to provide what’s best for my wife and my newborn , waking up to the slightest cry of my newborn throughout the day. We also can feel that she has genuine affections concerns patience on her duties towards baby despite being a confinement nanny is really not an easy task. Always interacting with the baby on occasions like showering , feedings or diaper changing . Always singing song to them while soothing them to sleep. Overall , I would really recommend people that see this comment to hire this nanny when possible , if there is a grading to grade her , I would strongly grade her 11/10 . That extra one point is her strong adaptation to the new environment that she is working in and her working speed is very efficient and fast too. Decided to engage Star Confinement based on recommendations by my sister's friend. On the day of my baby girl's delivery, contacted them and they quickly arranged for my CN within the next day. Jacqueline (ST321) whom we usually address as Yen Jie was assigned to our little family. Yen Jie was definitely experienced and loves our baby like her own. I would say she was very dedicated to taking care of our baby's needs and it was definitely not an easy task, now that us the new parents has taken over after her last day 🥲. Yen Jie also does some decent cooking which she always says she "sui bian" cook only. I believe if she decides to go above "sui bian", it might be michelin grade 😝. 28 days surely went by in a blink. I feel Star Confinement carefully picks their CN which is definitely 👍👍

We are glad to have engaged ST 175 Chin Chew Geok Amy as our confinement nanny for 28 days. Despite being a second-time mum, there were a lot of tips that I picked up from Aunty Amy who generously shared them with not just me, but also my sister who is a new mother. Aunty Amy is very knowledgeable and well-versed with the herbs and their uses, and prepares my meals according to my needs e.g. expel, improve blood circulation, improve milk production etc. Aunty Amy is also able to read baby’s cues well and is able to decipher whether baby is hungry or just fussing, preventing over-feeding. Not only, she showed good knowledge and skills of baby massage, which she taught me. A huge bonus for me is that Aunty Amy is very familiar with the techniques to induce more milk flow and production and was very encouraging of my efforts to breastfeed. From the stuff Aunty Amy brought and packed, I could tell that she is very well-prepared and organized. Thank you for looking after us for a month!

She is knowledgeable in taking care of babies and she was generous in sharing tips with us. Even our PD commented that our newborn was very well taken care of! We appreciate that she is calm and patient when managing our fussy baby. She is also open to understand our preferences when it comes to baby routine and cooking our meals. Aunty is dependable and we were confident to leave baby with her when we head out with our elder daughter. She also find ways to encourage our 4yo to interact with her younger sibling which was really helpful during the transition period.
