I contacted Squeegee detail and explained that I was looking to have paint swirling corrected on my Porsche Panamera prior to ceramic coating the vehicle (which I do myself.) I sent pictures of the vehicle for them to evaluate the required service and paint condition and was sent a quote which was reasonable. Booking was a breeze through texting which was convenient as I am usually unable to call during normal business hours due to my work schedule.
On the day of the service I reiterated with Squeegee detail to please let me know if more than the scheduled two stage paint correction was needed to remove the swirling as it was significant in some areas to which I was told âabsolutely.â I was at work on the day this service was done but a family member who is very familiar with paint care and knew what I was looking for was present to again explain what I was looking for prior to the service.
The tech took about 5 hours to complete the paint correction. When inspected by my family member it was noted that significant swirling was still present and discussed with the tech that this is not the service that was requested. The tech then stated that a wet sanding of the paint would be need to be scheduled and that they were satisfied that â85% of the swirling has been corrected as promised with our 2 stage paint correction.â The technician advised that the main office be contacted to discuss the service and left to his next appointment.
I contacted the main office and explained that the service was not satisfactory, reminding them of my request to contact me if a further service was needed to correct the paint. I sent pictures and received a phone call shortly after to discuss my concerns. I was told that the 85% swirl removal had been met and that a wet sanding of the paint would be needed per the technician. I noted that this was not correct as the clear coat/paint on my Panamera had plenty of depth to perform a deeper cut when the paint correction was performed as I had measured it prior to and after the service with a paint depth meter. I also noted during this call that neither a detailing light or paint depth meter was used during this service by the tech which itself was concerning as it cannot be determined how deep you can go unless you measure first or accidentally go to deep when cutting. After some back and forth discussion I was told âmost people see the before and after service and are happy to see the difference as it is good enough.â The conversation ended shortly after with âit seems we have a difference in expectations for this service and we fulfilled the service scheduled but can schedule another service if you would like further paint correction done.â
After this phone call I inspected further and discovered that the headlights which had just had lens correction done now also had swirling. Pictures were sent & I was offered a $20 discount + a $40 gift card.
I have not pushed this further as I fully explained on the phone my concern and was told multiple times that I had received this service.
I have paid for the service with the $20 discount but would like others to be aware of the level of service that can be expected. I am an amateur detailer but requested this service to save myself time and hoped to have it done better than what I could do myself which unfortunately not the case.

I would like to note that during all interactions Squeegee Detail was courteous and respectful.
Absolutely outstanding experience! The detailer showed up right on time, fully prepared, and carried himself with total professionalism and courtesy. He took his time, walked me through what he was going to do, and delivered results that genuinely exceeded my expectations. My car looks cleaner than it has in yearsâinside and out.
I really appreciate the convenience of having someone come to my home and still provide such high-quality work. Itâs clear this local business truly cares about its customers and takes pride in their craft. Explained throughly what I was going to get for what I was paying. I got the gold interior package for both my cars - rav4 and kona. Decided on the time and date for the detailing on the call.
The guy who was supposed to do the detailing came on time. Loads of communication through the process via messages. The guy moved the cars, and did the job, zero touch on my end. All I had to do was show him a water spout and a plug point in the garage.
Only thing I had a small complaint about was the credit card fee that they charged on top of what they quoted, and they didn't tell me if there was a way to avoid it by paying via cash/zelle etc. Their portal also just allows debit/credit card so no way to avoid that. If possible try and find a way so customers can avoid it.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WONâT HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES.
Had my truck detailed and ceramic coated a few months ago. After the initial work the truck looked amazing. However, after 1 wash, ripples, smears, and cloudy spots were visible.
I contacted Squegee and they sent out the original tech that did the work to review. The tech agreed that there was an issue and contacted the office. 1-2 weeks later another tech came out to look and saw the same issues and agreed there was an issue. The second tech asked if the first tech applied the ceramic coating on a sunny day, I told him yes. He then asked if he set up a covering over the truck, I told him no. He then advised that the first tech should NOT have applied the ceramic coating in direct sunlight as it would cure too fast. The tech immediately called the office and later informed me that they would fix the issue and to call the office to set up an appointment. They acknowledged the issue 2 months ago and itâs still unresolved.
I followed up with them weekly via text and / or phone and they advised they would speak to their manager and get back to me. This has gone on for about 2 months now. Iâve finally come to the realization that theyâre blowing me off and have no interest in fixing an issue they caused.
If you are looking for a company to detail your vehicle, I would highly advise you look elsewhere.
Following up on this review and responding to the owners comment below. If Squeegee Detail was BBB certified I would be filing a complaint there instead of updating this review.
Again, if you are looking for an honest company that stands by their work and presents themselves with integrity, I would strongly advise you keep looking. The owner, Tenzin, whom I believe replied to this initial review expressing his upmost apologies and goal of making it right could not have been more insincere and dishonest. We had one phone conversation where he expressed his want and willingness to rectify the situation. This was followed up with the same behavior. No follow up, no follow through and complete avoidance of the issue by ghosting me entirely.
The issue is still not resolved and I have no choice but to move on. I am providing this update to hopefully reach any consumers in the market for an auto detailing company. Donât work with them because they wonât work with you. This is by far the most dishonest company I have ever come into contact with as a consumer.
STAY AWAY.
We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with Squeegee Detail, Kenny. We never want any of our customers to feel ignored or let down, and itâs clear we fell short in addressing your concerns in a timely manner.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to invest in a ceramic coating service and then encounter issues that werenât properly resolved. The lack of follow-up and communication you described is not the standard of service we strive for, and we truly regret the inconvenience this caused.
Our goal is always to provide high-quality car detailing and ceramic coating services that deliver lasting results, and in this case, we clearly failed to meet those expectations. Please know that we take your feedback seriously, and we will be reviewing this situation internally to ensure it does not happen again.

Squeegee was amazing. My 2017 sedan looks like new. I had HORRIBLE coffee stains on my upholstery and 5 years of grime, and they somehow made my light gray seats look immaculate along with all the trim. The windows were so clean I thought they were rolled down. The owner /manager was super clear when communicating, and Micael and a lady worked on my car for over four hours. They were courteous and thorough, and it was incredibly convenient because they came to my residence. I was so happy driving to work today in my "new" car.
