I attended an SKM trial class, unsure whether or not it was for me. I had absolutely no combat sport or martial art background and didn’t know what to expect. All I knew was that I wanted to learn self-defense. That was over two years ago, and I’ve been attending classes regularly since. Each of the instructors is incredibly knowledgeable and brings their own flare to teaching. The classes themselves are well rounded, and the learning environment is friendly and encouraging. My daughter attends their kid’s class, where they teach effective defense techniques in a kid-friendly fashion. Cannot recommend SKM highly enough!

Great instructors who teach effective no-frills techniques to defend and counterattack. There are no cliques nor pointless moves, and for a reasonable monthly rate (less than a gym membership) you can attend up to five classes per week. Be prepared to push yourself, it's well worth it. We highly recommend this for adults and kids.

Attended a women’s self defense class with my teenage daughters and their friends. We learned a lot and had fun doing it! As my daughter and her friends are heading off to college these are skills they need to have and hopefully will never have to use. Mark and Ken were great instructors. I would highly recommend this class for everyone!!!!

I've been training here for a few years now and have learned so much valuable information, not just in the self defense skills but also in what to be aware of in your surroundings and the kinds of situations that you may otherwise unexpectedly find yourself in. I always leave feeling like I've spent my time and energy on worthwhile training with instructors who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they're teaching. I had been looking for a great fighting system like this for over 30 years, it’s aggressive, practical, and takes a little of everything from all areas of martial arts. You don’t have to be an athlete, you don’t have to be young - Krav Maga is designed for people of all ages and types. @Spartan Krav Maga instructors are patient, approachable, and knowledgeable without being arrogant and disrespectful - they teach for the pure love of Krav Maga and welcome questions and thoughts. It takes about 3-4 weeks to build up endurance and to understand how each fighting move builds upon another, but honestly this is such a good investment in yourself and you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend SKM to learn how to defend and attack to protect yourself. 6 out of 5 stars!

Highly Recommend Sparta Krav Maga - One of the Best in Town For over 30 years I had been looking for a practical fighting system that was similar to classes I took years ago. I found it at Spartan Krav Maga and have been at it for over 2 years. SKM teaches a practical blended fighting system which has its roots in Israeli fighting techniques; Israeli soldiers are based in one of the most volatile regions in the world so you bet they know a thing or two about fighting and protection. The instructors are patient, top-notch, and are not intimidating, and while they encourage you to do your best they do not ridicule you nor call you out if you have reached your limit. We're all a team and we leave ego at the door. It's a good way to work out while learning practical fighting techniques. It's well worth your time and money, and I can't recommend SKM enough.

I trained to learn and experience real fighting and defense techniques from armed attackers for a novel I was writing. I very much enjoyed the training, and I learned a great deal from the experience, which has provided me with great fundamental fighting skills. I feel that the class structure enables me to learn something. Even if the material has already been covered in an earlier class, I get the chance to coach a newer partner or have the opportunity to workshop modifications with a more experienced partner. I never felt like I was out of my depth if I was unseasoned and any outside training I had wasn’t insulted. Instructors never made me feel that I was lesser for being a student and didn’t let their superior position go their heads.
