Went there with family after looking at the reviews and ordered a few things. Surprisingly in one of the order (burrito) we got hair and it got replaced and we thought it could happen and were enjoying the replacement and then again there is another long blonde hair (in cabbage salad) that I pulled from the mouth. It was disgusted and totally spoiled our mood and experience there.

This place is not it. I’ve watched the food go downhill since I first went here years ago. My last visit was to see if they went back to their roots but nope worse quality than ever. Fish tacos zero flavor (just taste the fried part). Everything else was bland as well. Drink was made completely wrong which seems hard to do for a slightly custom margarita. Honestly it’s giving food truck quality now. But prices like a restaurant.

Google maps led us to a dark alley when I searched for this restaurant. Eventually, I found it on the main street. The restaurant is pretty good and has a lot of great options for vegetarians. Their habanero sauce was a fire. Great taste and fire. Too bad we had to order chips and salsa and not for free as most of the nice Mexican restaurants do. No free chips refill too. I felt like they were catering to the type of people coming to visit Leavenworth. Food quality and taste were on point. Weirdly enough most of the restaurant was empty on Sunday afternoon and we asked the hostess to be seated in bench-style seating but they refused to say they want people to sit up front. Not sure why maybe because they want to give the perception of a full restaurant to the outsider. I would recommend the Burrito and burrito as a bowl. Both of which came with purple Cabbage salad and some chips. Burrito Cubano had banana, rice, and bean filling which was tasty. Bowl came with guac and beans which were equally tasty. One of my friends ordered veggie enchiladas which looked and tasted delicious. I eould definitely recommend this place.
Updating my review as I noticed drastically smaller portions now compared to first time we visited and at higher price.

Loved their chicken fajitas and appetizers .. pretty good for mexican in Leavenworth!

We’ve been coming to Leavenworth for years and typically get sucked into the German/Bavarian restaurant because, why wouldn’t we? This time we decided to try somewhere new and OMG! The food here was AMAZING! I would come here again rather than some of the cliche places. I got the Grilled Steal Burrito and it was so good. The staff were amazing, the food was amazing, the prices were good. Try it.

We waited quite a while to be seated, even though staff kept walking by and clearly saw us waiting. No one acknowledged us or even said they would help us shortly.
The burger cost $18, plus $2 for cheese, and it came completely different from what I ordered. I understand burgers may not be their specialty, but it was honestly the worst burger I’ve had at a restaurant. My husband’s burrito was basically just rice.
Unfortunately, everything was disappointing—from the service to the food. There’s nothing more frustrating than being hungry and getting a bad meal.
