Awesome tour
Jenny was a fantastic tour guide. There was a flood that majorly impacted the planned route for our tour, and she gave us an adjusted tour that was even better than what we had hoped for originally. The car was incredibly comfortable, there were great snacks, and Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and funny. She even sent us some great photos of my friends and I that she got on her drone. Thank you again!

Jenny was a fabulous host! Upon arrival she told us that the tour area we had booked was flooded and inaccessible, so she took us on a separate (more expensive) tour which went way over the original timeslot. The car was super comfortable and she was very nice, providing snacks, water, and interesting conversations along the whole tour. 100% reccomended if you are in the area

A great astronomical and astrological adventure!
Mel and Jenny were delightful hosts, who were clearly very knowledgeable about the astronomy and astrology of the night sky. The dark sky viewing was stupendous! Hadn’t seen the Milky Way since grade school, so was surprised it was so easy to see still and my family had never seen it before. We really enjoyed the multiple creation myths about the Milky Way and the other constellations. We could go on and on about how great the experience was, but do yourself a favor and book a tour with Mel and Jenny.

Amazing! There is no way we could have seen so much or learned so much if we tried to do this on our own! Mel was a wonderful guide, pleasant to chat with, willing to stop anytime and based the tour on our interests. We would recommend to anyone coming to the area. It was hot, but there was plenty of water, snacks and air conditioning! Would love to come back for spring/fall tour. Thank you so much for a great day!

We did a tour of the Tenple of the Sun and Moon (and Stars) with Mel. What a fantastic tour. At Mel’s recommendation, we added a tour of the bentonite hills. Mel is a fantastic guide and super knowledgeable on geology, history, and so much more. We can’t recommend him and Meridian Tours enough.

The tour was so interesting full of interesting information- the guides are so knowledgeable and friendly! The jeeps are high end luxury! The icing on the cake for us was our four kids were with a professional child lover, who entertained and spoke their language! We were free of stress or worries- truly recommend this tour!

Fantastic Experience!
We had an amazing time with Jen touring Moonscape Landing, Factory Butte, and Capitol Reef National Park. Jen was super friendly and knowledgeable and she made everything so fun and exciting. She was extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable and safe and that we had sure footing any time we got out of the jeep. It was cool seeing the park along with the other landmarks and it was interesting learning about the history behind it all. We even got a few bonus features. We would definitely take another tour with Jen.

Today we had a fantastic day-trip with Mel. We went to Cathedral Valley and he took us to all the great spots for photography. He told us a lot about the origins and the different layers of stone, very interesting. We definitely will be back, thanks!

Mel picked us up and gave us several options for modifications to our tour with good descriptions for each one. He did a great job describing the geology of the area and he entertained us with Capitol Reef stories (we want to know if you ever find adventure cat and their owner!). The tour was a great way to see portions of Capitol Reef that we would not have made it to in our rental car. The jeep was well stocked with an array of snacks and water and Mel was also great about stopping for photographs we wanted to take.

This was an exceptional tour! Exceeded our expectations! Mel was knowledgable about the area and the geological formations. We did a private tour; we felt extremely comfortable, safe and although we had some physical limitations, he accommodated our needs. We had a great time. Highly recommend!!

Great experience
Great tour of the areas of Capital Reef you just can’t see without a 4x4. Picked up at our lodging and on a dirt road within minutes to experience sunrise at Temple of the Sun. Very knowledgeable and personalized to stop and take pictures where we wanted. Thanks for the great tour!

Scenic vistas can’t be beat by this great tour operator
Here’s a chance to visit what USED TO BE little-visited places by a very knowledgeable tour guide at a decent price. We’re glad that we did this and would use Meridian again and this tour guide (Mel?) with NO HESITATION. 5 stars.

Factory Butte & Moinscape with Meridian Tours
This was a great experience with Mel of Meridian Tours! Mel was steeped in the geology of the area and shared fun anecdotes about the area and life there. The views were fabulous! Especially of Moonscape! The weather was a little off for photos of Factory Butte, but Mel was very accommodating in stopping when the lighting and positioning around the Butte was optimal! Highly recommend this tour!!
