Very disappointed. Aggressive tactics to push unnecessary procedures and appointments to maximize allowable insurance coverage rather than what is truly needed and best for patient. Dental hygienist was also way too rough and kept hurting me. The dentist sounded okay, but I think he has the reception do the aggressive sales pitch bidding for him. I've been with them for about three years now, but I think I'm done with this place.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I had to go through dental surgery, and at first, my dentist and I didn’t completely see eye to eye. I’ll admit I was a bit anxious and probably not the easiest patient; dentist visits have always been stressful and a huge form of anxiety for me.
But Dr. Sussman truly had my best interest at heart every step of the way. She took the time to explain everything, stayed patient with me, and guided me toward the treatment I needed, even when I was unsure. Because of her care and expertise, my teeth were saved, and I’m so incredibly grateful.
What really stands out is how much she genuinely cares about her patients. She doesn’t just do her job; she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel heard, comfortable, and taken care of. She went out of her way for me when she didn't have to and that did not go unnoticed.
If you’re someone who struggles with dental anxiety like I do, you’ll be in amazing hands here. I’m so thankful I trusted her judgment. She gave me my life back.

Yesterday I went to Source Dental Oshawa Centre. I don’t visit the dentist out of pure fear. I broke a molar and it needed to be fixed. I hesitated to go but made my way there. I was met by a Dental Assistant named Bharath. My anxiety level was through the roof. He was so kind and asked me some questions and made me feel like I was going to be ok. Before I knew it we were laughing and my anxiety vanished. This kind young man took the time to make sure I was good before proceeding. I can’t thank him enough. Meeting Dr. Sussman was also very comforting and I’m even going in for a cleaning after way too many years. Thank you Source Dental. My whole experience was amazing. Bharath needs a big pat on the back. He is awesome.

Disappointing decline of a once-great practice. 😔
After being loyal patients at Source Dental for 20 years (for my wife) and 14 years (for our family), we are officially leaving. This used to be a fantastic practice under Dr. Gold, but since the change in ownership, the quality of service has plummeted.
There is no longer any continuity of care; we seem to have a new dentist every single time we walk through the door. Beyond the inconsistency, we’ve had issues with over-billing for time, which was significant enough that our insurance company actually flagged it and declined to pay.
The final straw was their predatory cancellation policy. We gave two days' notice to cancel an appointment, but they refused to accept it because they don't count Saturdays as "working days"—even though the office is literally open on Saturdays. This even given our 20-year history with Source Dental. After a lifetime of loyalty, our family of six is done. We are now looking for a new dentist who actually values their patients.

We had a great experience at Source Dental for my mother’s dentures. The office is modern and clean, and the staff is very organized with scheduling. Dr. Nicki Sussman is clearly an expert—She took the time to ensure the fit was perfect and that my mother felt comfortable every step of the way. Her entire team was so patient and kind. Dentures look incredibly natural and the adjustment period was much shorter than we anticipated. The pricing was transparent and the quality of work is top-notch. Dr Nicki was amazing. Over 2 appointments I was sure my issue could be solved by her. That’s why the second appointment came about. She poked, prodded, tapped and X-ray showed nothing. She was so good about explaining. My conclusion I should have been at my G.P’s . The problem got resolved. Thanks Dr Nicki 😁

Has only gotten worse and worse since Dr. Gold sold the practice. The new admin team are some of the worst individuals to work with they will harass you with text messages to change your appointment last minute or ask you to confirm 40 times even though you booked the appointment months ago. The hygienists are all masters of torture. They have a TV in every room that only works 30% of the time and you are usually just left starring at a computer desktop. They try to push sales on you for whitening and all types of random crap once they have your contact info. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced, multiple times I've left after an appointment and I've been called back because one of the front desk admins messed up a benefits submission or payment record. The only silver lining is the specialists they bring in (once in a blue moon so good luck getting an appointment that works with a busy schedule) who are great but also work out of other locations. I implore you to choose any other dentist in Oshawa you will get better service and respect for your time. I've been a client here for almost 10 years I switched on a recommendation back when Dr. Gold ran things and watching this slow decline has been heart breaking. The last straw was today when they tried to refuse my appointment I booked months ago because I didn't respond to their BARRAGE of confirmation messages. Instead of assuming the scheduled appointment was to proceed as agreed in our last communication they cancelled, wasting my time on a busy work day. Notice that all the 'best dental service' awards they advertise are from years and years ago. I don't usually leave Google reviews but they have a lovely sign up asking about your experience so I thought I would share.

From the moment I walked in the front office I was treated with the utmost respect,which I hold in great value from the primary customer greetings staff/Secretaries to the dental hygienist who I wish I could remember he’s name because he was nothing less the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had he showed me too dental sweet where I’d be taking care of :;;from the X-ray experience to the the very personal yet absolute professionalism everything was absolutely top notch ,,then I met the dentist ,very personable I had some financial concerns about the work I needed done and even thought they were cray busy she explained everything,not just that but she gave me her personal take on what she would do if she was in my situation,,I then met the I suppose the Dina planner she Invited me warmly into her beautiful office Asked me to call her by her first name which I really appreciated made me feel at ease and explained the The most fiscally responsible way to go about my treatment which I need a lot of she explained what should be done first due to the limited funds I have through mine ploy or this year and what I am able to spend out of pocket and all of this was done in one day I walked in at noon and I’ve never been there before they had me sitting in the dental chair by 10 minutes after two I was out of there by three it was by far the greatest dental experience I’ve ever had in my life I would recommend anyone Looking for a new dentist Rupšienė new to the area or perhaps you’re just sick of those dentists that come in and don’t even introduce themselves , let alone telling you to call them by their first name going out of their way to make you feel comfortable treating you like a person very personable facility was clean technologically advanced I can’t say enough I could go on and on and on about how great this place is it’s in the Oshua centre if you think this is a bot or some employee trying to big up their business that is untrue go see for yourself! 5 STARS DOES NOT GO WVEN CMOSE TO THE SERVICE I Was blessed with today
