This is one of my favourite yoga studios. The teachers are consistent and highly knowledgeable. The space is welcoming and beautiful, mats and props are provided. I always recommend this studio to anyone looking for an authentic yoga space.

Lovely yoga studio with reasonably priced Sunday afternoon sessions, clean floors, and clean changing rooms etc. Showers are good, Matt are clean and anti slip and the teacher we had was very professional. The atmosphere was perfect and I had an amazing time and will come back for sure.

Having met some of the teachers at Jivamukti and Equinox in the past, the intro week deal feels like coming home. On the other hand it's totally novel and just NYC excellent. A true "good space" ...or sukhasana!

Souk reminds me of my old days at Laughing Lotus, the vibe, the music, the smells, the practice.. I love the hot vinyasa class with Amanda on Friday’s 10am One not to be missed!

This is a studio entirely focused on sincere practice of yoga - and keeping a busy schedule so people can try different approaches. I’m solely focused on Ashtanga and very grateful to Souk for warmly hosting important, incredible teachers and offering a great program led by Michael Guiou. It’s a very convenient location, a low key but lovely space and pricing is very reasonable. I knew the owners had a good rep and I’m very glad to make this my yoga home.

I got a massage from Janet Lee with Deep Breath Massage Therapy (in SOUK Yoga Studios). She was very welcoming and open to hearing anything that I had going on in my life/body that would help her tailor the massage. She integrated breath and stretching into the massage and it left me feeling lighter when I left. I was very relaxed and felt very safe and comfortable with her. The space itself is amazing too, lots of yoga classes and a great community and still has that spa feeling when you go in!

Souk is hands down the best studio in New York City. Experienced and senior teachers teach well crafted classes, the Souk community is strong and welcoming. There are a variety of class offerings to suit the beginning student to the advanced practitioner.

I went to souk for an IYENGAR flow with Nick Potenzieri. The studio was very nice when you come in, smells like a spa and has a no shoe policy. They have mats/props available for you as well as changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers. The class was unlike any yoga class I have been to. They really focused on one technique and then we practiced it in many different ways. It felt like a serious way to deep your yoga practice and be present. Additionally, the instructor was providing modifications for pregnant women. Lots of the clientele seemed to know eachother and have a sort of community there.

World class yoga school with an amazing staff of super experienced teachers. I began practicing here as a beginner 3 years ago and have felt my practice progress into a lifestyle. I’m here 3/4 times a week. Ashley, Maria, Monica, Rima are amazing & the studio often has a rotation of teachers coming through the studio from all over the world. You are in incredible hands. The studio always feels clean and warm and the support staff are friendly and welcoming. I’m so grateful to this space

The Kundalini master classes with Gurmukhi and Gurushabad were terrific. We attended all the sessions on Saturday and Sunday. We have studied with Gurmukhi for 25 years and attended sessions all over the world. There is no one more special on Kundalini yoga and hopefully we will get a chance to have her back at Souk sometime in the near future. Can't thank you enough. The studios were clean and the staff was wonderful. Looking forward to more great yoga with Souk.

Souk is a beautiful and tranquil studio that feels like a retreat in the middle of NYC. The space is immaculate and welcoming, and the classes are consistently amazing. The teachers are compassionate, highly skilled, and truly inspiring. Even when I’m not in the city or can’t make it to a class, the Souk Zoom Room makes it easy to stay connected to my practice, which has been such a gift. I always leave feeling grounded, uplifted, and grateful for this community.

Souk is a beautiful yoga studio with amazing vibes. The teachers are awesome - very welcoming, seasoned and knowledgeable. There are a diversity of classes offered including great workshops for deepening practice like sound healing, cacao ceremonies, etc. It fills the void since Jivamukti NYC closed pre-pandemic. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place where to feel home, where to feel seen, where to feel heard, where to feel safe, where to receive a big warm hug, SOUK is absolutely THE PLACE. The level of teaching is extremely high, each and every teacher is so well trained, so professional and at the same time so compassionate and kind as well as everyone working at the front desk. The two owners Rima and Monica are always there to lift your energy high up and to ground you down offering you a real experience more than a yoga class. The space is cool and clean and offers you the best of services. I have been practising a lot with them both in person whenever I can and online and I have become addicted to them. SOUK is always a balm for my heart <3

I just had my first class and absolutely loved it. It was the community class for $12 and change. The studio is super cute and gives more of a grass roots vibe vs very commercial. I loved that you couldn’t flush toilet paper down the toilet it oddly in the best way reminded me of practicing yoga in Tulum 🥰 I’m so grateful.
