I mean it's just amazing Thai food. We got the koong karee and the kao soi and some other stuff. The flavors were amazing although we did need to add spice to both dishes. The cocktails are solid but not amazing. My only gripe is that the koong karee was served a little cold
Pleasant place, good food, excellent service. A little noisy. We came in late and we're seated right away, which was good. Best for very small groups as it is not a large place and tables are close together.
The food is good but the overall experience is quite unpleasant and in such a rush - we made a reservation for a large group and it allows 1.5 hrs to dine in. The food was delivered very fast and all at the same time, the service team checked so frequently and took the dishes even when we were still working on that. We waited 20 more mins to seat after the reservation and all the dishes were taken away after an hour - we’re supposed to have half an hour left! The table is very crowded and it’s super hard to get out for the restroom.
Culinary experiences hardly get better than this. Every dish was a MASTERPIECE, and I am already sad the experience is over.
We arrived for our reservation for 2 at 7:38pm ish (reservation was for 7:30pm), and were told to wait for our name to be called. We were also immediately informed that we would have 1.5 hours to enjoy our meal as soon as we were seated. My husband and I appreciated that your “start time” didn’t start when your reservation is booked for (which some restaurants do), but rather when you actually physically sit down at your table.
We were officially seated at about 7:48, so we waited outside for 10 ish minutes. Due to the limited seating, you have to wait for the previous party to be done with your assigned table before you can go in. It’s understandable as this is a popular place, and the system they have for this is a well-oiled machine.
We sat down (tables are close together, but expected in almost every nyc place like this) and scanned the QR code to view the menu. We immediately had waters brought to us, and those were consistently refilled throughout the night.
We started with the duck rolls, and they blew both of our minds. Just good quality ingredients in a roll of deliciousness. And that sauce!!!! So good!!!
We both ordered the Thai iced tea and enjoyed it throughout our meal. I am a Thai tea fanatic, so I was pumped to see it on the menu.
My husband got the Khai Soi Moo Tod, which he LOVED! It was on the spicier side so he had to take it slow, but he was a huge fan of the crispy pork belly’s consistency.
I got the Beef Pad Si-iw, a classic favorite of mine that I was excited to try here. Needless to say, it exceeded every expectation. It was perfectly sweet and savory, the beef was wonderfully cooked, and the noodles were just delicious. I also ordered a side of white rice which didn’t last long at our table.
Also wanted to add that this was the best bang for our buck we feel like we got during our stay in NYC. My dish alone was $21 (plus $3 for the white rice), and it was SO much food. My husband felt the same way about his plate, he even brought some to go.
We opted out of dessert because we were stuffed, but service was top-notch all the way through. Loved that the entire staff was, at all times, looking for something to do for their customers. Whether it was a water refill, a modification request, or just checking in to see how it was going—everyone had somewhere to be to try to make the restaurant run smoother. It was a delight to witness.
Cannot wait to be back. This place is popular for a reason!!!

I don't review almost any place, but this place has fantastic food that comes to the table almost impossibly quick. We had Gabby g as our server and he was fantastic.

Place had everything a good restaurant has. Great food, drinks, and ambiance. But what all avid restaurant go-ers know is what separates a good restaurant from a great one is service; and soothr absolutely crushed it. Our server Ken K never missed a beat. Always checking up on us, refilling waters without us having to ask, and at one point a spoon tragically slipped off our table — Ken K was there to save the day. Replaced that spoon in maybe 7 seconds of it hitting the ground, gotta be a record of some sort. Would recommend to my loved ones.

I sat at the bar and had chicken khao soi and the rose quartz and wow…. I had the most amazing experience. The chicken khao soi was addicting I need it every week. Poonpun was my server and he was very attentive and sweet and had the best recommendations. Sitting at the bar was a great time seeing the staff make the amazing cocktails. Service is really great and I’m already ready to go back and try more!!
