The Soil Doctors are fantastic - highly recommended! We have had a waterlogged, boggy lawn for years, that is basically unusable between October and April each year. The lawn is heavy clay soil and very compacted, so we were looking for a solution that reduced the compaction and improved drainage. We came across The Soil Doctors and their Geo injection tool, and the results are very impressive - after recent spells of heavy rain, when normally the lawn would be waterlogged for days with sitting puddles, it is dry and usable - no puddles. The grass is looking much healthier too. The service from the team has been fantastic throughout, and Tom is clearly very knowledgeable on the subject. Lovely people too. UPDATE one year on: The lawn has never been so good. We've had no puddling at all this autumn and the grass is lush and healthy. There probably hasn't been quite as much rain this autumn (2025) compared to last year, but definitely enough to have caused puddling. So the injection really does work!

We initially made contact with The Soil Doctors due to a problem with water logging and drainage in our rear garden. The company were exceptionally quick to respond to our initial enquiry and within 3 days we had someone visiting to provide whatever’s expert advice and guidance on how best the situation could be resolved. We received a fully documented and informative quotation and within a week the Soil Doctors arrived with their specialist equipment and proceeded to treat the lawn and garden boarders which were totally waterlogged. 1 Year on. First of all, Tom and Maggie were brilliant. Lovely people who have a great work ethic accompanied by a depth of knowledge and passion to back it up. As for the Injection works, it was something I hadn't heard of before although the science and logic made sense. Now, 1 year on we have gone through all the seasons and I can report we no longer have flooding in the garden. There has also been a reduction in the amount of moss due to better drainage (although we had to do some raking too). Also, an added bonus, we haven't been visited by the moles, so we no longer have mounds of soil around our lawn. Credit where credit is due and I would certainly recommend.

PLEASE READ, Great job injecting by Tom and Maggie, firstly I am a bit lawn obsessed so having purchased a new build with a large garden with 500sq meters lawn then to find it was just waterlogged even in summer. The grass wouldn’t grow and to wet to walk on and even the lightweight mower was sinking. We looking into all options for drainage but you have to send the water somewhere also would require excavating to install pipe work. Tom and Maggie to the rescue, they arrived in May so I have given it six months before writing this to ensure a honest review. They drilled approximately 500 holes and injected as the builders had compacted the subsoil not allowing drainage, Tom used a 13bar compressor so more powerful than others and with an old school ethic just didn’t stop and needed nothing from us. Thy are experts in their field, Tom is one of the nicest genuine and knowledgeable people you would ever wish to meet. After a couple of weeks with No destroyed garden, you could see the difference and now six months later it’s been remarkable no water issues and a lush green lawn to be proud of with a helping hand. Three before photos and three now November. Great job and a big thank you.

Had the Soil Doctors in as the back of my garden was always waterlogged and lost numerus tree and plants. 6 months after treatment and the torrential rain from Storm Claudia couldn't flood the area where the soil injection had been carried out. On the grass area next door, puddles of water were sitting where we hadn't had the treatment. Well done Soil Doctors - 100% recommend!

Tom and Maggie travelled to our parish allotments site in south Worcestershire to carry out Geo Injection treatment to improve the drainage on our often waterlogged site. From our very first enquiry, Tom has shown the utmost professionalism, courtesy and genuine willingness to help us. He was patient with all our questioning. Having travelled from West Sussex through the early hours they arrived at 8am, as they said they would. Tom and Maggie worked solidly for the 1.5 days they were with us. Their enthusiasm for the work they do was infectious and it's clear that they really do believe in the product they are delivering and that gave us confidence. They only finished earlier today, so only time will tell if it has worked, but we are more than quietly confident it will have done. We're now hoping for some heavy rain to test it out! We're also hopeful of some bumper crops from our allotment tenants going forward with all the nutrients Tom has injected under our site. Thanks Tom and Maggie! It was a pleasure meeting you.

After some research and weeks of looking at other options we decided to go with The Soil Doctors. Everything was explained from start to finish, Tom made the process easy to understand. Our garden is heavy compacted clay, so it's water logged from October to March/April with standing water, now looking forward to use the lawn all year round.
