Basically paid £90 for a problem that’s still there!! I thought when you book an emergency they would remove the tooth not having to pay another £300 on top for the tooth to be removed so basically paid £90 for a course of antibiotics that I’d already been on a week before!

When you contacted the practice, the emergency appointment fee of £80 and the extraction fee of £300 were both explained over the phone before your appointment was booked. The purpose of the emergency appointment was to assess the tooth, diagnose the problem, and discuss the available treatment options.
At your appointment, the dentist confirmed that the tooth required extraction. Antibiotics were only prescribed because you chose not to go ahead with treatment.
We understand dental treatment can be an unexpected expense, but our fees are provided in advance so patients can make an informed decision about their care.

I have only attended the clinic for hygienist apppointments so far, so yesterday, having suffered a terrible toothache for nearly a week, I was very nervous. I shouldn't have worried. The dentist, Amaka Ngwoucha, made me feel at ease straight away. After having the x-ray to see what the problem was, she clearly explained my options I decided to have an extraction & Amaka explained exactly what she would be doing & what would happen step by step. It was all over very quickly. I was given an after care pack explaining everything I needed to know post extraction. I'm very happy with the care & treatment I received & would thoroughly recommend this dental clinic.

Absolutely amazing! The best dental service I have been too. The dentist is so understanding and caring. I had a wisdom tooth removed and she got it out in one, she made sure I was feeling ok and not in any pain , the appointment didn’t feel rushed, I’ll be back but hopefully not too soon haha!

The best dental care I have ever received. This was my first time at Smile Dental, I had an impacted Wisdom tooth removed and from start to finish, Dr Amaka and Dr Sarah were absolutely amazing at explaining the full process, continuously checking if I was ok throughout and making me feel so at ease. The aftercare is incredible, checking in hours later to see how I was getting on. I now won't go anywhere else! Thank you xx

I was very nervous going into my appointment. It had been a long time since I had been to a hygienist. My teeth were quite stained. Sarah her dental nurse and receptionist were very friendly and kind. I left with lovely white teeth all signs of stains gone. Will definitely go back and keep up with my appointments. I had a suspected infection in one of my teeth and couldn't get to my usual dentist, so gave Smile in Hopton a call. I was seen that day and the dentist confirmed that my tooth was infected. I opted to have it removed. The dentist removed the tooth very carefully, to extract it in one piece, rather than just yanking it out, which l have experienced in the past. It was a relief to get rid of the problem tooth and now pain free. I'd definitely recommend this dentist.
