SM Safety Training & Consultancy Ltd Reviews

James Browne 2026.10.02

I've just completed the two-week NEBOSH Construction Certificate with SM Safety & Training Consultancy and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our tutor Steven, was extremely knowledgeable and brought the syllabus to life by encouraging interactive discussion throughout. Rather than just working through the material, we explored real world scenarios and shared experiences, which made the content much easier to understand and remember. Thanks to the quality of the training, I feel really well prepared for my Open Book Examination. The course was well structured and delivered professionally from start to finish. I'd highly recommend SM Safety & Training Consultancy to anyone looking to gain their NEBOSH qualification or develop their health and safety knowledge.

The course well well structured and delivered, as someone was not familiar with online learning Steven made it feel like I was int he classroom. There was sufficient course materials to aid with understanding and there was loads of opportunities to ask questions and relate control measures to everyday scenarios. The homework was sufficient and the discussions and explanations the following day gave plenty of perspective on the questions. I would highly recommend SM Safety as a provider and Advisor. Looking forward to the open book exam next week.

This has been the most enjoyable course I’ve taken part in. I’m not from a H&S background so felt I would struggle on the course but Harrison has been brilliant in explaining scenarios or methods in a way I understand and supported myself exposing steps to improve my answers, I have already recommended this to work colleagues who are keen to do this course.

I recently completed the NEBOSH certificate in Fire Safety course with Steve from SM Safety Training & Consultancy Ltd. From the outset, Steve maintained excellent communication, ensuring I received all the course materials in advance and was fully prepared before the course began. The course was delivered in a well-structured, professional, and engaging manner. Steve was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer support throughout the course. The individual feedback he provided was incredibly valuable and really helped me understand the course content and stay on track. What stood out most was Steve's commitment to his students. Even after each day's online sessions had finished, he was still available to offer help, advice, and encouragement whenever it was needed. A huge thank you to Steve for his dedication and support throughout the course. I have just completed the NEBOSH Fire Safety course with Steve from SM Safety, and I cannot recommend the course highly enough. Steve delivered the course in a clear, logical and easy-to-understand way. He took the time to support every learner, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He made sure everyone understood the subject before moving on. The course is intense, but Steve broke the content down into manageable sections, which made it much easier to follow and retain. The pre-course material was also excellent and prepared us well for the training. Steve is knowledgeable, professional and approachable, and his teaching style helped everyone gain a strong understanding of the subject. Anyone considering a career in health and safety, or looking to complete a NEBOSH qualification, should look up Steve and SM Safety.
