I loved shopping at Salt Lake Running Company. My doctor recommended SLRC to buy Brooks or Hoka shoes to alleviate my leg pain from working in a school all day. Suzy listened to the issues, made some recommendations and brought several shoes for me to try. I ended up buying one of each brand. There were great options in stock, but I was able to order a color I preferred and have it delivered to my home. Highly recommend!
It’s a great shoe store with expertise, and very helpful and knowledgeable salespeople. Patrick, who gets 5 stars, patiently helped me for over an hour as I tried a half dozen shoes. I would give 5 stars overall but they only had one pair of neutral running shoes in my exact size (admittedly a unique size being 10 wide). I could have ordered online, but that defeats the purpose of going to a store to try the shoes to assure they fit right.
We first stopped by SLRC when my Debbie’s feet were hurting due to wearing vans and plantar fasciitis.
She got the cloud shoes last year and she’s really walking on clouds.
Today we returned to get me new cloud shoes for my new prosthetic leg I’m getting in New York next week.
The staff is super friendly and intelligent and willing to let us try on a dozen or so shoes until we get the perfect fit.
We no longer go to box stores or Amazon since SLRC are so family friendly.
One of my favorite running stores. They have a great selection of trail and road shoes, nutrition products, clothing, recovery tools, and running watches. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with real
world running/racing experience and a great at giving product recommendations. Highly recommended for any level of runner/walker.
Worst salesman ever.

Tried one couple pairs of shoes today, was ignored for 20 minutes by most of the sales associates. Then I was able to try on a couple pairs of shoes and I wanted to ask the guy his opinion on the shoes. He could have cared less, I would have ordered shoes online if I didn’t want to talk to someone who has more experience with running shoes than me. Left feeling embarrassed and without a pair of shoes. Would not recommend going in unless you know what shoes you’re looking for and don’t need help from the associates
