I had William here yesterday after getting 3 other estimates to replace my roof. One was after a guy randomly stopped and asked if I would like a free inspection, he said he saw damage and we had an insurance adjuster out, he said he didn't see any wind damage and they probably wouldn't pay anyway because it was 11 years old. He got up on and looked at my roof. He informed me I wasn't ready for a new roof. He took a caulk gun up and sealed a loose shingle and coated and hammered a few nails that had popped up, no charge. He said it should be good for another 3-5 years but call him back in a year or after a good windstorm and he'd check it again. How refreshing to find an honest contractor! When I really do need a new roof, I'm calling William at Skywalker Roofing.

Trying to keep this short, because I could right a novel. When I discovered we needed a roof replacement on Oak Island, NC, a friend suggested I get a quote from Luke Wilson of Skywalker Roofing Co. Believe me, I am glad I did!! Luke arrived promptly when we agreed to meet, and thoroughly explained what We could expect from start to finish. I had heard of a potential Grant program through NCROOFS that might be available if we installed a fortified roof, because of the extra benefits of having a stronger roof on the coast..Luke was aware of the program and worked closely with me to help with the approval process into the program. He even adjusted the install date in order to make sure everything was in compliance with them before beginning the install. Skywalker Roofing arrived early on the scheduled day, and to my surprised, removed the old roof, repaired a few places that needed attention, and installed the new roof, fascia boards, and completed clean up all in one long day for his employees. They even removed and replaced the shingles on our outside storage building to match the house. We were not on site during the install, but again, to my surprise, he provided a program that sends pictures and videos providing a “timeline” of the work from start to finish. I found myself being useless the entire day waiting for the updates that came timely through the day. To sum up, Skywalker Roofing provided an outstanding product, great workmanship, great communication, and reliability at a great price. And also, as stated earlier, assisted me in getting approval to recoup some of the costs through the NCROOFS grant program..but honestly, I would’ve have been totally satisfied with them even without that added bonus. If you live on the coast, however, and you are in need of a new roof, try to get into this program before it closes.and if you live anywhere near their service areas throughout NC, give them the opportunity to earn your business. I HIGHLY recommend Skywalker Roofing and Luke Wilson

This was our first time getting a gutter installed. Lucas came by at the appointed day and time to give us an estimate. He was very patient explaining the process to us and made solid recommendations about the type of gutter and gutter guard we needed.
