Working with Sky Marble & Granite was a big success for our kitchen renovation that included new quartzite countertops and backsplashes. The owner and showroom manager were very involved with the project. They were knowledgeable, responsive and patient with my questions. Their attractive showroom has a wide selection of products, both in types of stone and at different price points. Although a hiccup or two occurred on the day of installation, fortunately they were quickly remedied by Sky Marble. My husband and I are very pleased with the overall end result...our kitchen looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Sky Marble.

The best experience I've had on a sales floor for a long while. Their store has very decent stock that beat others hands down and Mary Jane epitomizes the sales /representative experience. I sure hope she gets commission for all her hard work. she did everything but cut and deliver the marble. From beginning to finale there is not one thing I can complain about...and for me that's rare. I will recommend this business to others. Their choices of slabs were just gorgeous! After shopping every Northern Virginia stone supplier more than once, we found Sky Marble and Granite. What a wonderful experience, with a fast turnaround. The showroom is well lit. Believe me it makes a significant difference, vs the common dimly lit warehouse spaces. The Sky staff is excellent, extremely knowledgeable. Working closely with our cabinet and appliance installers, Sky carefully measured - a computer driven process. A big plus, selected stone slabs are fabricated on-site, subsequently delivered, and installed. No worries, you receive the stone slabs that you picked out. Sky collaborates directly with you on seams and pattern layout. I highly recommend Sky Marble and Granite, Sterling, VA. Quality products and fabrication, plus a professional team kept us informed from start to finish.

Had to replace kitchen counter to also match existing island and also add countertop to downstairs bar. Probably a small job by their standards but the owner stopped by to review the plan and review alternatives. Couldn't be happier with results and quality work. There was also concerns of damaging existing backslash during replacement but accomplished without incident. Highly recommend.

Great team, great results-Tailored Expertise
Sky Marble and Granite team, especially Suat, went above and beyond -sincerely. He met us at various locations from our home to stone wholesalers in order to bring our vision into a reality. He provided that personal touch to provide his expertise and recommendations. You can tell he also took care of his team making sure they had coffee/donuts, lunch, etc while at the same time demanding a focus on attention to detail and excellence in their work. Prior to fabrication, him and his team reviewed our design layouts and made sure we got what we envisioned. He promised us the highest level of quality and results and he did not disappoint.
Sky Marble and Granite from selection to delivery / installation were top notch. Their showroom in Sterling is incredible and very clean. The day of installation was a sight to see. Our island counter was 1 slab 72" x 114" of marble. The guys looked like they were wrestling an alligator! They did a great job leveling and sealing up the stone.

Sky Marble and Granite did a small job for us in May 2024. The store is impressive, and the sales rep took me to some stone pieces that would work for my space. She advised what she thought would look good and scheduled an installer almost immediately. The turnaround was great. The problem happened when the installer returned to place the stone. He carelessly removed the sink and set it on the floor and knocked the drain pipe loose from the sink, which caused a delay in our already tight project window. I mentioned this to the company, who thanked me for my feedback, but did not offer any concession other than assuring me they’d use my feedback for training. While frustrating, I cannot say I would not use them again, because other parts of the process went well and efficiently.

This review dates back to August 2023. I chose Sky Marble based on positive Google reviews and Facebook recommendations. I had granite installed in my kitchen, but encountered several issues during the process.
I went to the distributor's warehouse in Chantilly to pick out the slab and I first, I selected a Level 2 slab but it was out of my budget, so I opted for Level 1 granite. Despite this, I was initially quoted the same price. After multiple emails and a phone call to the distributor rep for confirmation, the quote was finally adjusted correctly.
The installation went smoothly, except they missed the air gap hole I had repeatedly mentioned. When I pointed this out and shared the email correspondence, the installers reacted unprofessionally and were cussing outside. They eventually drilled the hole, but it was off-center.
Immediately after installation, the granite absorbed significant water and showed glass rings. Despite several emails and calls, I was told to purchase a sealer and apply it myself. When I requested help, they offered to seal it for $200. I was not informed of this requirement during the purchase or installation.
I was not informed that the granite needed sealing immediately after installation, nor was I given the option to pay for it. I asked why this wasn’t mentioned during the purchasing process, and they said it was in a packet left behind and should have been communicated. I would have paid for it upfront had I known. Big box retailers like Lowe's and Home Depot include long-term sealing, and I understand smaller businesses charge for extra services, but this should have been clearly communicated, not left for me to discover later.
Though I considered a one-star review, Mary Anne from customer service was helpful and remembered my issue. However, I find it unfair to pay out-of-pocket to fix a problem that should have been addressed initially. This review reflects my overall experience, from the initial issues to now being left with permanently discolored granite countertops.
