This is a long review: Our trainer, Stephanie, was amazing. She was so patient w/our newly adopted rescue Mal/Doby mix and all her energy it made us feel comfortable. Our girl was only 5m when we took her to S-M-S and full of unruly energy & fear of new places. By week one, and end of her first session, she was already listening and understanding her commands; jump forward to week 5, she’s now 6m and she not only no longer scared, peeing or barking when it’s drop off time, she is understanding and doing awesome w/all her commands; which has been so great for us at home and when out, and she just loves he trainer, Stephanie. I love the friendliness of the facility and everyone that works there. I also love that the owners, Carmen & Nathan are always present and super friendly. Our girl didn’t want to warm up to Nathan initially the first 2 sessions, but she sure does love him now 5 weeks later and can’t get enough of him when he is near her. The other thing I love about S-M-S is they do not rush you, they respect each trainer & the the trainer’s dog’s space; making sure not to allow the passing dog or the dog in sit position to get in each others space, which I appreciate. But their communication, which is a very important part for me as I am big on excellent communication, is ON POINT! They go above and beyond w/it by always checking in on how your pupper is doing w/commands shortly after session, through the wknd, and prior to the next session to see what specifics you want the trainer to work on. They are honest with you about how your dog is doing or how you are doing during your 1-on-1 session. And I love that they send a report card on how my puppers is doing on her full day of training. This has been an excellent experience and w/so many options to chose from out there and not knowing who to choose can be stressful, so we definitely made the best choice and we recommend Sit-Means-Sit to anyone looking for quality training where you def get your monies worth in so many different ways. Stephanie did a great job with our dog Hailey. Hailey is very very skittish so it took a very calm person to work with her and Stephanie was the right person for the job. She got Hailey to place we never could have imagined.

Had a wonderful experience with Stephanie training our 6 month old German Shepard! Overall it was a thorough and comprehensive dog training program. I am happy we made the investment with Sit Means Sit! We were frequently reached out to throughout the week to check in on progress. Stephanie always asked about specific areas we wanted to cover during each session in addition to reiterating what was practiced that day. Loved getting progress reports mid-day that included a picture of our pup too!

Thanks to Sit Means Sit and Amanda, our 5-month golden is great and well behaved! Amanda listened to what we issues we were having (biting, settling, basic commands) and now we have a puppy that loves to listen and doesn't put holes in our clothes. I would recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone who has a dog who needs to be trained properly. I was very fortunate to have Stephanie as the trainer for my dog. Molly is a 1yr old Bernese Mountain dog. Stephanie was so patient and professional working with both Molly and me. I’m so happy I can actually take my dog for a walk now and not be dragged down the street. She actually listens to me. Stephanie you are the best!!

Sit means Sit training allowed my puppy Mavis to acquire life skills that are priceless. My partner and I were taught the skills to create a fantastic, engaged well-mannered relationship with a 9 month old ball of intelligent energy combined with puppy-mush brains. The staff at this facility were uniformly excellent and engaged but a special shout out goes to Stephanie who led the transformation of this vibrating 9 month old puppy into a Canine Good Citizen.

We signed up with Sit Means Sit earlier this year to help our girl with some reactivity and overall obedience. How do I know what they’re teaching is working? Our girl Pepper is a firecracker. In these last several months we have seen a night and day difference with Pepper. She is more inclined to listen, she is more confident, we feel more confident, her recall is better, her behavior at home has improved tenfold. And most of all, people in our lives who have been around Pepper since her training started tell us all the time how much better she’s doing. From our friends and family to her daycare. What a wonderful experience I had and my puppy Lemmi. Stephanie was amazing!!! She was patient and so knowledgeable when we were going through training. I was shocked after one session that the demeanor of my puppy changed in such a good way. Stephanie also taught me to be more patient and to use my body language more as well. I now get to enjoy walking and taking my puppy out in public and know he will be well behaved and obedient. It was a joy to watch my puppy’s confidence grow and now I get to really enjoy my time with him. I definitely recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone who would like to train their dog, my experience was amazing for Lemmi and me.

They were great with our chessy puppy Boh. They gave both him and us a solid foundation of obedience and understanding. They took the time each week to walk us through the training cues and commands. They also gave us support if we need it in the future to refresh training or to continue with his work.

Amanda was a great trainer- very patient and caring with our dog, Otis. He is a beagle mix and just a wee bit stubborn :) but he is now reliably responding to commands. And he loved going for training which meant a lot! Everyone we met at Sit Means Sit obviously loves dogs.

We can’t say enough good things about Stephanie and the team at Sit Means Sit. Our girl Dottie recently completed both the Puppy and Advanced classes, and we were thrilled to have Stephanie as her trainer. Her calm demeanor paired perfectly with our energetic GSP, and Dottie absolutely loved seeing her each week. What really stood out about our experience was the support outside of class. Stephanie and the team regularly checked in to see how training was going at home, and whenever we hit a roadblock, they provided practical tips that helped us stay on track. From day one, it was very clear that the entire staff genuinely cares about the dogs and their owners. They made the entire experience enjoyable and rewarding, and by the end, it truly felt like we were part of the SMS family. We’re excited to continue with the group sessions to reinforce the skills that Dottie (and we) learned throughout the program.
