I recently had a roof survey following a house buying survey and decided to give simplify structures a go.
One of the first structural engineers that actually answered the phone and when they did answer the phone was met with a very friendly and helpful receptionist.
Communication and punctuality was great throughout and even catered to my needs of a quick turnaround.
Upon reccieving the report there were a few questions i had and these were both rectified and answered in the space of a few hours.
I would deffinatley use simplify structures again.
We had a really positive experience with Simplify Structures. The price was very reasonable, and the admin staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout.
The work involved removing a structural wall between our kitchen and dining room, and they provided all the necessary structural calculations and drawings. Dan, who carried out the work for us, was professional, knowledgeable, and approachable during his visit. This was my first time dealing with a structural engineer, and he took the time to clearly explain the process and what was required. He also responded promptly to emails whenever I had questions, which was greatly appreciated.
Building Control signed off the work without any issues. Overall, a smooth and reassuring experience — thank you very much.

We have recently had Dan out from Simplify structures to advise on some renovation work we plan to do in the kitchen. Dan provided excellent service throughout, answered all our slightly silly / naive questions and shared the paperwork with us really quickly. We requested a GSI due to superficial cracks in the interior walls of our terrace house which appeared to get worse over the months we'd lived here.
Robert got straight to work as soon as he arrived, wasting no time. Did a full and thorough scope of the house leaving me with no further questions (which he answered happily) and a clear peace of mind with regard to the cracks, and recommendations on how to proceed. The report is indeed very clear and easy to understand.
Communication over email was also very prompt.
Very professional and helpful company. Dan who came out to do the evaluation was friendly and helpful and we received our calculations report less than a week after the visit. Very efficient service provided, highly recommend.
