I was lucky enough to come across a Simple Farewell card just after my Mums passing and, from the moment I made the first call, I knew I wouldnt need to look anywhere else. Stephen was clearly very knowledgeable and happy to personalise his service, with nothing being too much trouble. Stephens excellent communication meant I was kept up to date along the process. Simple Farewells are based in Yorkshire but this made no difference to the procees or lovely service held in Manchester. I would highly recommend Simple Farewells reassurance and personal touch at a very harrowing and sad time.

Stephen listened carefully, understood exactly what my brother Brendan deserved, and guided me through every step with compassion and clarity. Nothing was rushed, nothing was too much trouble, and he consistently went the extra mile to make sure everything was just right. What stood out most was the balance of professionalism and genuine humanity. Stephen delivered a top‑quality service at a fair and honest price, without ever making the process feel transactional. Stephen was a massive help when my mum died. I had never arranged a funeral before and he guided me through all the steps, explained everything. Made sure everything was spot on consistantly. He was so supportive, it felt like a friend was helping to arrange mum's funeral. I honestly cannot thank Stephen enough for all his help and support during a difficult time. His simple attended funeral was perfect and very reasonable. We live in North Wales and I still felt very supported. Thank you very much Stephen. Everyone who attended told me it was a beautiful service.

Stephen came to my home after I rang him from an advert I had come across. He was very polite,caring and understanding. He asked questions wanting to know about my brother who we sadly lost and this really put me at ease knowing my brother would be in the right caring hands. We discussed music my brother liked and Stephen even offered to have a photo of my choice to be placed on the coffin. I definitely made the right choice choosing here and I also received phone calls and messages with updates relating to my brothers cremation date and arranging a suitable time to deliver his ashes back to us. I would definitely recommend Stephen to anybody who’s wanting a friendly, personal and very professional cremation for there loved one. At such a terrible time of heartache and sadness Stephen brought many smiles to my face and I can’t thank him enough.

What an excellent personal service from Stephen. My daughter contacted him and he made a visit at her home talking through everything that would happen, the timescale, service and return of ashes and that made it so easy for me and my family. My son’s photograph and favourite music played at the cremation and the video was a lovely touch even though we weren't attending.

The commitment Steven showed was unbelievable he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish for my brothers funeral. He showed so much compassion Steven done everything I asked for my brother he treated me with respect and if he had known me years he listened to everything I asked him and wanted to know. He was interested in my brother's life and what kind of person he was.nothing I asked was to much trouble anytime of the day told me I could phone him anytime which made me feel alot better and relaxed and took away my anxiety I cannot thank him enough
