I had a wonderful time working with Silver Opus to plan a last minute trip for me and my son to Norway. It was over the holidays, and we had very no flexibility with our dates - yet Elle and her team were able to make all of our wishes happen - including swimming with Orcas! Their recommendations and scheduling worked wonderfully, we felt very spoiled and taken care of. Their planning took all of the stress off of us while we were traveling. We just got back home and both agree, it was the best trip we have taken in a long time! I can't thank Silver Opus enough.

The itinerary was interesting, thoughtfully orchestrated, well paced. Guides were excellent and hotels were well located and very comfortable. Everything went off like clockwork. This tour was laid out very well and our escort was amazing. The places we visited, by and large, were very enjoyable. The hotels we stayed at in each city were exceptionally nice, superior first-class in each city. I especially enjoyed the Opus XVI in Bergen which was probably the best one on this trip. We did spend a lot of time, by necessity, on trains and ferries. The Flam railway trip was amazing, although the town itself seemed to me to be quite the "tourist trap." Ou local guides in each city were amazing and being able to experience local culture was special. I would certainly recommend Discover Scandinavia Tours.

They worked around all my stated preferences and mapped out an excellent vacation routing with exceptional hotel arrangements. And their pricing was 40% less than a travel agency competitor. I believe you’ll find them easy to work with and quite competent.

I went on a trip arranged by Discover Scandinavia Tours with my husband and another couple. We went to Bergen and Balestrand and then Oslo and Copenhagen. The trip was absolutely wonderful. The company arranged all of the hotels and boat and train trips, as well as tours in each location. Balestrand was absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed in a beautiful hotel that we never would have discovered on our own. The trip was arranged perfectly, and all of the tours were great. Every time we were moving to a different location a car and driver showed up to transport us. All of us loved our trip and appreciated the care that Discover Scandinavia Tours put into planning and arranging it. They also worked with us to figure out what we wanted and took our wishes into account. I highly recommend this company. I have been singing their praises to my friends since we returned. If you go, don't miss the fjords. BEAUTIFUL!

The “Stories of Iceland” tour in February 2024 was flawlessly organized and brilliantly guided. We were a small group of diverse travelers whose individual interests and abilities were factored into each day’s itinerary. Bjarni, our guide, shared his intimate knowledge and love of his country’s geography, history and culture with humor and an enthusiasm that was contagious. As an 82 year old widow, my personal interests were the geology and the northern lights, and I came away awed by my experience and eager to return to this clean, modern, courteous and caring island nation.
