He was very pushy and didn't listen to hardly anything I had to say. Seemed like he thought he knew my body and my experience better than I did. He put me on a medication I have been on in the past a know it does not work for me, but would not listen to my past experiences

Mr. Patrick and Mrs. Jackie are very kind and not pushy. I tend to take a little longer to do things, so it helps when I’m able to move at my own pace. They seem very understanding, and Jackie is especially flexible. She creates a calm environment, which really helps since I get anxious in new settings. From the start, she was kind and made me feel comfortable.
I cannot express the level of gratitude and amazement that I have for Silver Arrow Psychiatric Care and Patrick Wambugu as a practitioner. They have revolutionized the psychiatric care experience to one that is on par with all other specialties within medicine. The days of waiting 3-4 months to get into a psychiatrist without going into the ER in crisis are over! They use all the latest telehealth technologies, they seek to fill a need and address systemic failures all while treating the individual. Even though in my specific experience they didn't have any SAME DAY NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS, (that's right, you read it correctly, they offer same day appointments)..... my wife explained my history and current need via text and phone with the care team and Patrick made special accommodation to meet with me at 8:20pm to discuss a care plan. He did this because he cares and felt it was the right thing. It was an absolute Godsend for me and I can't say enough good things about this practice and these providers. For those dealing with mental and emotional illnesses this has been needed for so long and is now a reality. The psychiatric industry should take note because this is what CARE and COMPASSION look like, rather than just a business model overburdened with need and understaffed to fill it.
