Highly reliable and friendly service
Both trips with the service were outstanding. Sonny was punctual, friendly, and handled the luggage with care during my first journey from Hamilton to Auckland International Airport. On my return today, despite a slight delay while waiting for another passenger, I was kept well-informed, and the driver was once again courteous and helpful. The excellent communication and professionalism make this service easy to recommend.

I have used shuttle2home a few times over the years, both for myself and for my family members. Their service is always prompt, reliable, polite and professional. Last week I managed to arrange a last minute pick up for my dad just 12 hours ahead of his arrival in Auckland. Shuttle2home were responsive (even very late at night) and the pick up was arranged and confirmed very quickly, giving me peace of mind. Prices are fair. Would recommend!

Both driver’s from outbound and inbound were excellent. They both are very professional and pleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the driver’s name who took us to the airport on the 16th of August. I only remember Sunny, the driver who took us home from Auckland Airport.

I used shuttle2home for the first time in my trip back from Auckland to te awamutu at midnight. The organisation was excellent and from booking I was kept informed as to the process. I was met at the airport with a clear sign with my name by an excellent driver named Rovi. He could not have been more helpful ,more attentive or more pleasant. I will have no hesitation in using this service in the future and feel I have found a service which overcomes the difficulty of getting to Auckland airport at whatever time of day . A real find.

Phoned shuttle2home when we landed and were told driver would be there in an hour and a half. Must mean he wasn’t leaving Hamilton until we called. Only the two of us so not waiting for other passengers. He arrived at 9.50 after us arriving at 8.30 then we walked to transport, and after being on a plane for 10 hours were subjected to a Toyota Prius for another hour and a half. Not comfortable at all. Won’t use again.
Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify the facts, as several statements in this review are incorrect.
Your shared shuttle was quoted and confirmed on 7 April 2026. The quote clearly stated:
• Travel date: 1 September 2026
• Flight arrival: 8:30 AM
• Terminal: Auckland International Terminal
• Passengers: 2 adults
• Drop-off: Cambridge
• Shuttle departure: between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM
You accepted these terms, proceeded with the booking, and payment was received.
You arrived at 8:30 AM, and our driver meet you at approximately 9:50 AM — well before the 10:30–11:00 AM departure window that you had agreed to.
Our driver was already completing the scheduled drop-off and then returned to Auckland International Terminal to collect you. The driver parked in the designated parking area and walked to the terminal pickup area to meet you. This is part of how our shared shuttle operation works.
A shared shuttle is not the same as a private transfer. Shared services are planned around multiple passengers, their arrival times, pickups and drop-offs. We cannot send a vehicle directly from Hamilton immediately after one passenger's flight lands, because the vehicle may first need to complete other scheduled transfers.
If you required the vehicle to be waiting specifically for you immediately after your flight landed, a private shuttle would have been the appropriate service.
Regarding the Toyota Prius, the vehicle used depends on the number of passengers and the scheduled transfers for that trip. For a booking of two passengers, it is not operationally necessary to send a large 9-seater van. The vehicle provided was suitable for the booking.
We respect your decision not to use our service again. However, customers have the full rights and freedom to review the quote and choose whether to accept or decline it before making payment. In this case, the shared-shuttle terms and departure window were provided clearly in advance and were accepted when the booking was confirmed.
We are always happy to explain the difference between shared and private transfers so customers can choose the service that best suits their expectations. We always aim to do our best for our customers and ensure they receive a safe, reliable and comfortable service.
