My son, Calvin, is entering his third season of RunBirds travel baseball based at the Shrewsbury Club. Coach Kelly Rooney has been a wonderful influence on my son’s development as both a young man and a ball player. We really enjoy the team Calvin is on and the structure of the program/development that we see. The facility has lots of space for drills and overall we can’t say enough positive things about Coach Kelly and the overall RunBirds organization.

The club and the Runbirds Baseball program have been amazing for our family. Everyone there from the front desk to the coaches are friendly, helpful and supportive. We have two boys in the baseball program, and we could not be more impressed with the facilities and coaches. The full indoor turf infield is invaluable for year round practice. The coaches run practice in a structured, focused way that lends itself well to kids who want to have fun and improve their skills beyond what town programs will achieve. The program and the people are top notch. Highly recommend.

This review is regarding the travel baseball program, RUNBIRDS BASEBALL, Specifically Coach Kelly Rooney. Coach Kelly has been such an incredible influence to our boys. He has coached all three of my sons in travel baseball over the last 5-6 years, and each one has had an amazing experience under his leadership and love for the game. His communication, dedication, and genuine care for every player truly sets him apart. What stands out most is how much my boys have learned from him — not just about baseball, but about teamwork, discipline, perseverance and love of the sport. Coach Kelly has a unique way of bringing out the best in his players while making the game fun and meaningful at a competitive level. Because of him, my boys haven’t just improved their skills — they’ve grown to truly love the game of baseball. I have been playing intermediate level tennis in the tennis clinics conducted by Shrewsbury club for about 2 years now. Ayman Khan has run these clinics for all the time that I have been playing. Ayman has an easy coaching style and introduces several interesting and fun drills in the clinics that focus on various aspects of the game . My game has improved during this time and I recently even joined the CMTA Tennis league. I would recommend the club and Ayman to anyone looking to learn/ improve their game is a fun, encouraging environment.

My son is fortunate to be going into his 7th season with Runbirds. In that time, he has learned invaluable baseball and life skills. He learned leadership and perseverance, built character, and achieved a higher level of play on the field. While baseball skills were always central to his training, the focus on character development was unmatched. My son matured so much over the years and now is a leader on and off the field. He will take the lessons learned at Runbirds with him throughout life and will always appreciate the opportunities he has been given through the years. I highly recommend Runbirds if your child is interested in advancing his baseball career through high school and beyond.

My 7-year-old son has been taking 1:1 baseball lessons at The Shrewsbury Club, and it’s been an amazing experience. His skills have really developed, and he’s now part of the Jr. Runbirds, continuing to grow as a player. The coaches and staff are extremely encouraging and provide great instruction and support to help the kids improve. Coach Chris and Coach Joe are fantastic. They make practices fun while keeping the focus on development and fundamentals. My son looks forward to continuing with the program and eventually moving up from the Jr. Runbirds to the Runbirds. Highly recommend The Shrewsbury Club and the Runbirds program for any young player looking to build their skills and confidence!

I found the perfect way to get back to playing tennis after being away for 20 years. I signed up for Ayman's adult 3.0 clinics and I'm having a blast. It's a great way to get a cardio workout while improving skills and strategies. Ayman's got an endless variety of games and drills to practice consistency, placement, and accuracy of groundstrokes, volleys, and serves. He gives feedback and reminders without trying to remake your whole way of playing; he meets you where you are and helps you improve. I like his laid back coaching style and his quick smile. I'm having so much fun and improving my game, thanks to Ayman and the friendly people in my weekly clinic.

My son has been part of the Runbirds baseball program for 3 years. Having spent about 10 years with other programs, I've found the level of coaching to be exceptional. All of the instructors know my son by name and care about his development as he progresses in his baseball journey. The facility is exceptional and unmatched in the area.

Sam is an amazing teacher . She has so much patience with the children when she teaches and wants them to enjoy there time and have fun . I would recommend having your child go here for activities cause they will get the best care and have fun and be themselves .

My son has been in the baseball program for the past 8 years and his experience as a player and ours as parents has been great! He has improved his skills each year and is on a path to hopefully play in college. The coaches have a wealth of baseball knowledge and all come from baseball backgrounds. Some as former players in college and others as college coaches. These guys know their stuff! The indoor facility is top notch with a full turf baseball field and about 9 or so cages. This gives you a huge advantage over other facilities during winter training. Runbirds baseball is an excellent program and I highly recommend it!

Very happy with the Runbirds baseball program. The facilities and coaching staff have been tremendous for our son and his development. The improvements made to the facilities have been incredible over the past 5 years. Watching my son grow in the sport, develop mental toughness, and learn to be a positive and supportive team member has been a proud moment for us. Coach Cam Cosette deserves special recognition for his work with our team and 22. Cam has not only been a coach to Jacob, but has become a positive role model in Jacob’s life and that is something our family will always be appreciative of!

I am not a person who normally write reviews, unless I am extremely impressed with something. I have been working with my Personal Trainer Hannah For almost last 4 to 5 months and I have progressed like anything else which I have not been able to achieve in a very long Period. Her detailed plans along with persistence in achieving the highest quality workouts helped me achieve my weight loss, getting in shape, and getting rid of my shoulder pain, low back pain. I strongly recommend. Everyone who is interested in making a better version of themselves to work one to one with a personal trainer and strongly recommend Hannah Who I think is excellent at what she does

I’ve been a member for a few years now. All the staff are super kind and friendly. Besides the tennis, basketball, and squash courts, there’s also a big turf area where kids can enjoy all kinds of sports all year round — which we really appreciate. Especially in winter, when there aren’t many places for little kids to run around and burn off energy, this place is a real lifesaver. My son belongs to the baseball team at this club, and he practices so hard under the amazing, attentive coaching staff—it really surprises us parents! (I just wish he’d show the same enthusiasm for studying, haha.)

The Runbirds program at The Shrewsbury Club has been a positive fundamental part of our boys baseball journey! The facility is awesome, clean, and has loads of options. The coaching staff is amazing, talented, and patient. Coaches like coach Kelly, Cam ,Chris and others are what keeps us coming back each year. We have had 2 sons in the program and this is our 6th year with the Runbirds Family. I am really looking forward to the revamping and enhancements they have made this year to the program to benefit the players skills and development as well as families as consumers. The program values its players as well as families and our boys benefit from that.
