Oh man, can your seafood be any better?
Splurged on Saturday at your mobile van, nthn beaches bowls club. Kilo tiger prawns, 2 balmain bugs and fish. Bit expensive, but wanted it.
We had 2 x prawn rolls on Saturday (home made). They were delighted and best tasting prawns we've had in 40 years. Saved the remainder and the bugs until today.
Just enjoyed a light, home made pasta dish - shallots, garlic, cherry tom's, little chilli powder, lemon juice and zest with a touch of white wine. Folded through the cooked fettuccine, then tossed through the remaining tiger prawns and bug meat. Parmesson and chopped chives on top.
Man, was this good!!!. Nice, light and full of flavour. The prawns & bug meat were so meaty and juicy. Best part....we've enough left for dinner.
The fish fillets are in the freezer, for another day. 5 stars is not enough. Superb.
