So glad I found Ferndale Market I live iut of state and have been wanting to get smoked turkey legs without nitrates and I was so happy that they deliver!!! I had some issues with shipping due to the storms at the time of my order but Belle read my email and addressed it and I was able to get the products in a timely fashion. I made them the next day after they thawed and we were not disappointed.... 10/10 definitely recommend !!

Hi Robert, thanks for your feedback. Because we're a small business shipping highly perishable products, which require dry ice and an insulated mailer among other things, our shipping costs are high, unfortunately. We have a flat rate for shipping, so one way to offset that is to order more product in your shipment when possible. Again, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to explore ways to lower our shipping costs in the future. We'd be happy for you to give us another chance.

I spent a long time on line searching for a smoked turkey that was made WITHOUT NITRATES. Most vendors do not list the ingredients or the ingredients are hard to find on the site. No disclosure of ingredients means no purchase for me. I purchased one as a Christmas gift from Ferndale Market because it was smoked without the use of nitrates . I was told it was delicious, moist, not overly smokey, and flavored well. The description was so enthusiastic that I will purchase more as gifts and add in one for myself in the future. Very pleased, highly recommend.
