I love getting my Thanksgiving turkey here. They are so friendly and supporting local businesses is important. The turkeys are free roaming when possible and I love that they are well taken care of. Highly recommend this place!

My wife and I love coming to Ferndale Market. For years now, it has been our primary destination in Cannon Falls. We live about forty minutes away in Eagan. We always enjoy our trips there except when the weather makes it a little bit challenging.
We love the turkeys. They are the only turkeys we cook. It has been that way for years. My wife's favorite is the smoked whole turkeys or the smoked drumsticks. My favorite is the smoked turkey breast. Most days, I carry a smoked turkey breast sandwich to work for lunch.
At Thanksgiving, we usually buy two fresh turkeys and two smoked turkeys. The fresh turkeys are absolutely delicious.
We also enjoy the other turkey products. The turkey bites are a family favorite. Our granddaughters REALLY like them. We buy the turkey sticks to put in their school lunches.
One of our favorite times to visit Ferndale Market is for the TurkeyFest. We always enjoy seeing the local farmers with their samples on display. It is a real blessing when John Peterson is at the store. He is a super guy.

The fresh turkey is amazing. The process for pick-up like a very well-oiled machine! So quick and easy! And OMG, get the smoked turkey in addition to whatever you are buying... It's life-changing!!

Very high quality turkeys for thanksgiving. I get one yearly. The shop is also good, I like to swing in there when I'm in Cannon and pick up some various turkey products. Their smoked breast is really good, as are their meat sticks. Plus, they sell Brick Oven Bakery bread from Northfield - always a treat.

Ferndale is a hidden gem! I love making the trip down there from the cities to stock up on all my favorites…turkey (of course), artisan cheese, fresh local produce, local honey and specialty salsas, salad dressings and chocolate. This year we picked up a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving, it was tender, juicy and absolutely delicious! The store is always clean and tidy and filled with wonderful food, beverages and gifts. I recommend Ferndale all the time to family and friends.
