Franco and his crew were spot on in the restoration of our Ipe decks and covered porches. This wood is particularly difficult to restore but these folks knew exactly how to do and the end product was just amazing. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that was required and they have maintenance programs to keep these amazing wood outdoor spaces looking perfect. We highly recommend this company without reservation and give them the very rare Five Clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( six stars on anyone else’s scale).

We entrusted Franco and his team to restore our deck while we were back at our primary residence. The deck was not installed with proper spacing when the house was built 6 years ago. Each of these boards had to be removed, planed, reinstalled with proper spacing, sanded, and then finished. The framing of the deck was also waterproofed. They did amazing work. They were meticulous and cared for the work site like it was their own home. The restoration is beautiful. Every once in a while you come across true professionals in any trade, these guys are the real deal. Can’t recommend them enough!

We had a set of stairs fell off our old deck. I searched for a company to repair the stairs and found Ship Shape on the internet. They came out and gave me an estimate on repair. When they started working on it, they found the frame work for the deck had been built with regular wood, not pressure treated. I could crumble the beams with my hand. The original deck was poorly constructed. So we decided to have the old deck removed and a new one installed. Every problem contains a gift. We didn't really like the style of the original deck, now we could build one to our liking. The crew was quick and efficient at removing to old deck and installing the new. Very solid construction. Ship Shape Wash did an outstanding job on my screened porch/deck. The initial consult was super helpful and answered all my questions. Additionally, they came in with some really great recommendations for accent lighting and giving my deck a little bit of upgrade with some color schemes. They were very professional, and the whole team was very neat and clean as they worked. They were also very proactive in letting me know when they would come out to be working throughout the timeframe as they worked in between jobs. I was really impressed with the team and appreciated all the hard work! And I was really happy with the results! Definitely recommend this company if you have any deck work that needs to be done.

What an amazing transformation that we never believed could happen to our deck. Carlo and Franco developed a process that we never knew existed after doing lots and lots of searching to bring back IPE to its original color. They were precise, pro active, and did everything to make sure that we were totally satisfied. We will definitely have them on our radar when it's time for a touch up. They came out, evaluated the situation, give us a quote, What the process for refinishing our dock would be. It is clear to us. They knew what they were doing. Franco and Carlos did a great job on our IPE deck. Through neglect, our deck looked tired and worn. It had turned completely grey and we didn’t know where to turn for help.
