We first purchased the SheBirths online course during COVID times when we were unable to reach in person hypno-birthing classes. As a couple who values evidence based practice, the SheBirths course aligned well with our needs. Not only was the online format easy to digest, but the course content was clear, informative and allowed us to make informed choices during our first birth. Being pregnant again 3.5 years later with our second child, we have jumped straight back into SheBirths to refresh our knowledge on how we can create the birth experience we want for a second time. I have recommended this course to many friends and family members over the last few years, and they have also really enjoyed the content. I can confidently recommend this program to anyone looking to step into birth feeling informed and confident that they can make the right choices for themselves and their babies. Whether you're wanting an all natural birth, or are planning a birth with some level of medical intervention, this course will give you the information you need to step into birth in a calm and confident manner.

My partner and I completed the She Births course face-to-face with Nadine before the birth of our first daughter in 2023. It was such a fabulous weekend for us - enjoyable, informative, helpful, and really fun! It really helped calm my partners fears around labour and birth, and I felt extremely educated in options to support myself in the lead up and during my birth. I had a beautiful birth and wouldn't change a thing, and I do believe the knowledge I learnt at She Births contributed to this outcome. I'm now pregnant again and really enjoying revisiting my handbook and the course content. I particularly love the full birth rehearsal visualisation - it's a must listen! We purchased the SheBirths online antenatal course when I was pregnant with my son. The format is deeply informative, thorough and easy to follow. It is packed full of educational content, teaching you about the physiology of childbirth, ways to breathe to manage sensations of labour, how to prepare for birth, prenatal yoga, and guided meditation. I loved every part of the course and know that I had the labor of my dreams because of what I learned through it. After my baby was born, I joined a Soul mamas circle. This was such a wonderful experience which connected me with other new mamas, and allowed me to just be. I can't recommend SheBirths enough. So nurturing, even online! Nadine’s caring nature just pours through.

With my first pregnancy (2022) I had a lot of fear & anxiety about birth. It was this fear which led me down a path of research & education to explore my options to help me feel more in control. In doing so, I became aware that most of my fears were based upon social myths or exaggerations - the TV birth comedy or tragedy rather than outcomes linked to fact and science. I came to believe a spontaneous, natural birth was the best goal I could aim for. I decided upon the Shebirths course as a key tool to help me achieve this goal, alongside engaging a doula. Both decisions proved pivotal in setting me up for success and I had a spontaneous birth at 41 + 3 days (in the hospital), without intervention. Shebirths is an essential tool if you want to feel empowered & informed about your decision-making at each step of the journey - no matter what your goals or health situation may be. Their online resources are fabulous & very useful for those wishing to do additional preparation (e.g., visualisations) in addition to the courses they offer. I am now expecting my second and am again utilising the SheBirths resources to support my birth preparation. If you're not sure --- do it! There's nothing to lose, only something (a lot) to gain.

My husband and I first completed the shebirths online course 8 years ago before the birth of our first child. We were living in Canada at the time and we found 99% of the information was relevant and applicable to our experience in a Canadian hospital. I had a very long labour but i managed to work through the contractions using the techniques we learnt in the course and had a completely natural vaginal birth. We had another baby less than 2 years later and another natural birth, thankfully this one was a bit shorter labour. I cannot stress enough how helpful the course was for my husband as he had literally zero idea of what to expect before doing the course. After everything he learnt he was an amazing support and advocate for me in the hospital and I feel it helped both of us feel empowered and confident that we knew what we were saying yes or no to during the labour. I also feel that birth can be quite confronting for the fathers to see their partner working so hard for so long but if they know what to expect and that this is normal, it is so much easier for them to be a support rather than freaking out. I have since recommended the course to my sister who also found it invaluable for the births of both her children. Again her husband found the information really empowering and she was able to have 2 natural vaginal births. I am also about to recommend the course to another family member who are expecting their first child next year. We are now back in Australia and expecting our third child and will be taking a refresher course to brush up on everything we learnt 8 years ago! All up, I highly recommend anyone regardless of prior birth experiences to take this course because it is so empowering.

I did the She Births online course during my second pregnancy and cannot recommend it highly enough. Although I had done some research and attended other courses during my first pregnancy, I found She Births® to be incredibly valuable. The content was easy to understand, practical, and rich in resources. I looked forward to doing a little bit each day. As my birth approached, I felt informed, calm, and prepared—and my birth experience turned out to be everything I had hoped for. Thank you!

My partner Ben and I did this course at 20 weeks and got a lot of benefit out of it. It helped me feel calm and at ease about the birth process and surrender to the journey of birth and pregnancy. We found it especially useful for my partner Ben as a support person in my birth. We chose to birth within a birth centre and used a lot of the active birthing exercises within this course, as well as the tens machine - one of Nadine’s amazing recommendations which was a lifesaver during some intense surges! I also enjoyed doing the meditations and yoga classes throughout my pregnancy journey and followed her dietary recommendations too. I love that it’s evidence based and scientifically verified information but also coming from a fellow yoga teacher and long term doula in the industry. This course was amazing for the preparation for birth. It really felt like I was preparing/ training for a marathon. In the end I had a ceasearian birth after a long labour & some complications but again. I felt quite able to surrender to the process due to the information in this course. Review after course before birth: This was an excellent, high quality course. Material is well researched and Nadine is very knowledgeable. Really great content and the information draws from diverse areas to give best outcome for mother, baby and family (the course content cherry picks knowledge from the world and different cultures). Course includes practical tips and allocated time/instruction to practice these techniques. FYI the course is slightly more geared to instruction and learning as opposed to each person sharing their own experiences / stories. I would say this course is an aboslute must do. 100% recommend. Updated review after birth We had the most amazing birth experience. To note we also had an amazing doula that guided us through the journey. We really feel that committing to the birth and using all the exercises and techniques that we learnt prepared us so well. Would 100% recommend She Births.

How can I thank Nadine and the She Births program? A google review is simply not enough! I'm glad I found this online course. With my busy work schedule up until very close to giving birth, it was the only way to fit in these much needed lessons. I'm so glad to have downloaded this course. The content was easy to digest, informative, accessible via the app, and most of all invaluable in providing much-needed tools to manage our birth. The Acupressure lessons were extremely valuable for us in managing pain, and the breathing techniques gave me a solid point of focus throughout labour and a way to manage my contractions. Nadine, as soon as our Dr said "it's looking like we might need an episiotomy, let's have one more push" I've never had more focus in my life than I did in that moment, focusing purely on a "J Breath". And I'm so so glad that I did. No instruments were required and our baby was born naturally. I can't recommend this course highly enough. I do wish I'd have been able to do some classes in person but the online video content worked easily into our busy lives and we referred back to the written content many times in the lead-up to our birth to practise and consolidate the information. Thank you, Nadine and the She Births team!
