Lake Dunstan trail is a ride not to be missed.The staff are fabulous - helpful, informative and nothing too hardThe E Bike was in excellent condition so I never felt worried.The ride ( Crowell to Clyde) AWESOME!I am not a confident rider and there were a few narrow / S bends but all in all - fabulous.A few steep ( up and down) but all in all - it was manageable.The weather was perfect and the landscape beautiful.
Maree and I have just done the Dunstan and Roxburgh Gorge trails with Shebikeshebikes, having done the rail trail some years ago. Service was again excellent - shuttle drivers Pail and Tony were great - on time, adaptable and very helpful. Cara in the Clyde office contacted us to say we could get picked up earlier which was appreciated. Mechanic Matthew (I think) at Clyde made a couple of overnight tweaks to the bikes to make day 2 even better. The bikes (Superior E bikes) were brilliant, plenty of power and comfort, and they worked well in the rain on Day 2

We had an absolutely unforgettable day on the Lake Dunstan Trail with She Bikes He Bikes.
The ride itself was spectacular. Amazing variety of scenery with a balance of challenging riding, incredible views, and fun made it feel like a real adventure rather than just another bike ride.
The logistics were seamless bike fit, helmet, full briefing, support along the trail everything was taken care of so we could just enjoy the ride.
If you are in Central Otago and looking for a day tour that delivers both thrills and scenery, this is it. She Bikes He Bikes made it all happen in such a professional way.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience with She bikes He Bikes, everything was spot on. We chose the Central Otago Rail trail this time and the whole trip was excellent from the moment we were picked up in Queenstown. The history was interesting, the scenery was stunning with just a bit of snow on the top of the mountains to make it more special and we loved all of the accommodation we stayed at along the way Olivers in Clyde, Pitches in Ophir, Inverlair Lodge in Oturehua & Kokonga Lodge where a fire was waiting for us after a wet day. I will certainly go with She Bikes He Bikes on another trip & would recommend to others.
Great service from Shebikeshebikes meant we had a great day on the trail. We were a really mixed group in terms of experience and ability, but electric bikes and the crew's recommendation for what trail to ride meant we all had a fabulous time. My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic experience renting e-bikes from She Bikes He Bikes for a day out on the Lake Dunstan trail. Upon arrival we were given a thorough explanation of the bikes and their operation, and staff ensured they were a proper fit before they were loaded onto the trailer for transport. The bikes were equipped with saddle bags which was helpful for a full day out on trail. We were quickly and efficiently transported to the start of the Lake Dunstan trail and away we went. The trail itself was gorgeous past incredible scenery and fun stop offs points (we particularly enjoyed coffee and a scone at Carrick Winery). Although long, the trail was 100% manageable with the e-bikes. Unfortunately for me, I broke a chain in the last quarter of the trail. Despite being outfitted with a repair kit and very clear instructions, we just couldn't get the chain fixed on our own. After a call to the She Bikes He Bikes shop and a talk with the mechanic, they actually sent someone out to rescue us who got the bike fixed in no time flat. This was incredible, and absolutely above and beyond all expectations and tells you everything you need to know about She Bikes He Bikes. We finished the day all smiles and can't wait to come back for another trip. Cannot recommend this outfit enough - they are a true class act!

Epic experience
This was by far the easiest experience in hiring bikes and planning a bike trail/great ride. The personalised itinerary was incredibly helpful, and prompt communication made planning a breeze. Being the middle of winter and in freezing temps, I didn’t realise how quiet shebikeshebikes was, but yet they still remained open and took the time to transport us even though we were the only ones. The winter specials were also a great bonus. It was extremely quiet on trail (had it to ourselves) but don’t be put off - it was epic and would do future trails in winter. Knowledgeable staff and lots of info on safety and track conditions made me feel well informed. Bikes were of high standard, powerful battery blitzed all the hills and comfortable to ride. Looking forward to riding with shebikeshebikes again soon!

Loved everything about She Bikes He Bikes
Otago Rail Trail ride. We absolutely LOVED "She Bikes He Bikes". They were brilliant from the very beginning. Honestly, they went way above and beyond for us. We were picked up from Wanaka and taken back to Queenstown Airport. Our accomodation at Pitches Store in Ophir was INCREDIBLE, the food was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had! Next accomodation was at Inverness Lodge in Oturehua, "She Bikes He Bikes" gave me the name of Ken Gillespie who took us on a tour of St Bathans. It was so much fun, he was so knowledgable. A real treat. Another must is going to Hayes Engineering, so incredible. Then we went on another tour to Naseby from Ranfurly with Sam Inder. Another treat. More great accomodation in Ranfurly at Hawkdun Lodge Motel. Our final night we spent at the "Cottage in Middlemarch" which was perfect. The next day at Middlemarch one of "She Bikes He Bikes" staff members took us to see the Salt lake, all on her own personal time. SO SO IMPRESSED with them all.
