I highly recommend Sharper Tools for sharpening. We had our kitchen knives done which desperately needed it. Now they just glide through what we are cutting or chopping. He is very quick to get them done - same day within 30-40 minutes and so reasonable in price. We will definitely use Sharper Tools again for our kitchen knives and will be taking some of our gardening tools to also be sharpened.
This was my first time using Scot's service. He was friendly, timely and did a nice job on my knives. I will use his service again.

Sharpening a mower blade usually takes 2 trips to the hardware store and 10-12 days. Sharper Tools provides a streamlined experience:
1. I made an appointment on the website.
2. I dropped off the mower blade and all my kitchen knives.
3. I ate lunch at the nearby Yum Yum Teriyaki.
4. Exactly one hour later (as promised!) I retrieved my razor-sharp knives and mower blade.
It's such a relief to actually *cut* vegetables again instead of bludgeoning them. I'm almost looking forward to cutting the grass...
Seriously, I couldn't recommend Sharper Tools more. Scott is a master craftsman. The edges on these blades are a thing of beauty.
I was a little confused by the "meet at my mailbox" arrangement described on the website, but it was fine. Scott's house is in a nice neighborhood. There is space for at least two cars near his mailbox. Scott was waiting outside at my drop-off and pick-up times. He takes cash or card, like any other business. I don't need to tour his workshop to judge his skillset - his work speaks for itself.

Scott did an amazing job on the knife i had brought him. It was a cleaver I had bought overseas and was completely dull. The job took less than 10 minutes and came out incredibly sharp!

I was really pleased with Scott's speed, skill, and accessibility. It was easy to book an appointment thru the website, and then when we had to change the time, Scott was very accommodating. Like others, I brought a mix of scissors, knives and pruning tools. Scott's costs are quite reasonable, and it's super easy to find his place. I would recommend Scott 100% for anything needing sharpening!

Wonderful experience! Scheduling was easy, drop off was easy, and service was prompt and efficient! I got old sewing sheers that I inherited from my grandmother back into working order! Highly recommend him!!

Scott did an amazing job on a bucket full of pruning shears, loppers, and a lawn mower blade for me! Scheduling was easy and all the work was done in 15 minutes while I waited, for an extremely reasonable price. I’m looking around the house for other items I can take to him next!
