I was going to wait until I cooked again to see how well the knife sharpening went with Scott, but I got home and washed the 3 knives he did and it cut my sponge up pretty good. I always hand wash these knives with a sponge and it has never cut the sponge like that before so it must be good. It's a local one man business, make an appointment or call/text him and he was available right away, drove to his house and waited outside for about 10 minutes. Affordable, but just be prepared to buy new sponges.

Scott is fantastic! I dropped off over a dozen kitchen knives and gardening tools, and he had them done in an hour. Quality work, easy scheduling, and Scott is friendly and knowledgeable. Extremely reasonable pricing for such great work. I will definitely be returning regularly!

Consider getting this service for gifts
I dropped about 15 or so knives and shears off for sharpening and got a very reasonable price, and they were done the following day. The quality of the work was excellent. I had my own knives done but also had knives sharpened for family and friend's Christmas presents, and they were also very happy with the work. My buddy went to slice a tomato like in old TV infomercials for a joke, but then he accidentally cut this perfect fingernail thin tomato slice and was like "oh.. oh dang man these are ridiculous." Highly recommended, and I'm definitely coming back at least once a year.

I got my garden tools sharpened at the Burien Farmers Market. They are now sharp and ready to take on my yard projects. The pricing is super low, I got three tools sharpened for about 12 bucks. It only took about five minutes and it was conveniently located at this great local market where I could get the rest of my shopping done.

The instructions for my appointment were clear and concise, i easily booked the precise day and time that worked for me, pricing was easy to find on their website, communication was prompt via text when it ended up I would be late-they were flexible and kind! It was easy to make an appointment online. Scott was already out in the front yard when I arrived. I had him sharpen a Japanese chef's knife which had light nicks on the blade. He did it right away while I waited. It only took 5 minutes and he did a great job. I would definitely use his services again.
