My husband and I recently purchased our forever home with our realtor, Grace Yeum, and I can’t thank her and her brokerage enough.
This wasn’t my first home purchase(I bought another house two years ago with a different realtor). And working with Grace made me realize this is how the home-buying process should be. She communicated constantly about our needs, preferences, priorities, and the local real estate market where we were searching. She quickly understood what we were looking for, and during every home tour she provided thoughtful and professional feedback on what to focus on and what to avoid when choosing a good property. Through this process, we were able to learn a lot and narrow down the kind of home we truly needed.
What I appreciated most was that she truly represented our best interests. Many realtors say they do, but often they just want to close the deal. When we were considering making an offer on a condo near a train station with some noise concerns, Grace gave us her honest opinion and reminded us to think about the home’s resale value and whether it would sell quickly in the future. That made us reconsider, and I’m very glad we didn’t rush into that offer. We continued touring homes and eventually found the perfect single-family home for us.
Grace is incredibly responsive and committed to her clients. She even came out on Thanksgiving Day for a tour because the property was a rare gem in that neighborhood and we didn’t have any other availability to see it. She also spent much of the holiday season helping us prepare an offer, review inspection reports, develop negotiation strategies, and navigate the closing process.
Our transaction wasn’t the easiest ; the seller’s agent was difficult to work with and provided confusing repair invoices. But Grace was extremely detail-oriented and carefully reviewed every document and repair item on our behalf while my husband and I were busy with our day-to-day work. Without her thoroughness, we might have discovered problems only after moving in.
I also want to mention that the team behind her(including the title company, loan officer, and brokerage) is extremely competent and resourceful. I compared several loan officers, including a close friend, but the one Grace recommended ultimately offered the best rate.
She never asked me to write a review, but I wanted to share this to express my appreciation. Thank you, Grace and Realty 1, for guiding us through the entire home-buying process. Without you, I wouldn’t have understood what kind of home we truly needed or the potential issues that can come with buying a house.. I would absolutely work with you again!!

The biggest challenge we faced in our home buying process was dealing with a particularly difficult and unprofessional listing agent. However, Grace remained composed and focused while navigating through this difficult situation with him, and she never allowed the listing agent's behavior to derail our goals, even though that would have been the easier path to take. Just from this alone, we were so touched and grateful knowing that Grace just genuinely cared about us, and just wanted to do the right thing.
We're extremely grateful for everything that Grace has done for us, and we recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking for an honest and hard-working real estate agent.

TLDR: If you're a first time home buyer, put your trust in Enoch Moon and Realty 1 Maryland.

As first time home buyers, we recently completed a home purchase through Realty 1 Maryland with Enoch Moon using a VA loan. Before meeting Enoch, we had been looking for a home with a different realtor in the area for a few weeks. When voicing concerns about the pricing, features, and condition or visible damage in homes we were being shown, they ignored us and continued to show us homes and pressured us to place bids on homes we didn't want.
When we met Enoch, it was a completely different interaction from the start. He walked us through a house we chose to look at as a "test run" to see if we wanted to work with him. Throughout the walk through, he pointed out every flaw he could find and made us well informed on every issue in a home and the surrounding property. When we finished, he encouraged us not to buy the house because the price was too high for the condition it was in.
We viewed maybe a dozen more homes with Enoch, and were never pressured to view anything we weren't interested in. In every home, Enoch made sure to point out issues we'd have to deal with immediately or possibly in the future. This was never to discourage us from buying any of the houses we looked at, but he wanted to make sure we knew the potential hidden costs so we could make the best purchase for us.
We placed two offers on homes, and in both cases, Enoch walked us through closing strategies that aligned with what we were comfortable with. For the first home we placed an offer on, Enoch had an emergency that took him out of state just before we went to view it. That didn't stop him though! He arranged accommodations for us to still view it and even negotiated our offer, despite his emergency. For our second offer, we were competing with eight other potential buyers. Enoch seriously fought for us and was on the phone with the seller's realtor nonstop. Because of this, the seller knew we were serious, and Enoch got us our dream home.
The closing process after was incredibly smooth, and Enoch gave us recommendations that we ended up using for our title company and home inspection. We were extremely satisfied with the services we received from them as well. We've happily recommended Enoch to our friends, and we can't thank Enoch enough. Save yourself the headache and choose Enoch first!

We've been working with Enoch at Realty 1 for the last year. We've seen a dozen homes together and he's offered real feedback and thoughts on each one, the good and the bad. He's not there to sell you on any home though that would make his job easier. He wants to find your family a home that fits your needs.
